Idk about everyone else server but the botting problem seems to be out of control on mine. Today the corrupt fae world quest was over taken by a group of boonkin bots. Skinning Worgen boonkin bots are everywhere, Same with the druid herb bots. I keep reporting them but report 1 see 6 more.
How is the bot problem on your server ? MAybe we can get a ban wave blizzard?

It’s kind of hard to care about this problem. To the vast majority of people it means cheaper mats on the AH. It only hurts the people that were hoping to make as much profit off us as they can.
Yeah I have also noticed a definite uptick in bots on Proudmoore lately. I usually play for an hour or so before work and the other day I was on at 6:30am (4:30 realm time) and went to a skinning spot in Bastion and there were 4-5 druids just continuously tagging all the mobs and star falling everywhere. Hopefully a ban wave will happen soon.

Not true. If you’re out questing – leveling or world quests – these bots make that a real pain and take much longer than need be. It’s a serious problem that needs to be addressed since even Blizzard has identified it as an issue; however, the problem is acerbated by the fact that they don’t seem to be doing anything about it at present.
That’s the server I play primarily on and it is OUT OF CONTROL. 32 characters on that server and every one that I logged into today ran into bots. Quests took a lot longer.
Best play is to just keep adding them to the ticket as they are seen, and send emails to the hacks team, if there is one thing I’ve learned about anything to do with programming, it’s a constant arms race between developers and bot makers/hackers, and there is really no good way to cut it off once and for all, cause there will always be a backdoor somehow.
