Most bots I have encountered are DKs in AV, I mean they do appear in other BGs, but not as often. Lastly, this dude is just an AFKer, which in my opinion is worse. As much as I hate bots, they are more useful than an AFKer.

these people just have a jump script or just monitoring AFK timers.
The first ban is never 8 days, and the second is nowhere near 31 days.
Most likely it’s your 4th and 5th ban. We’re not getting the whole story here.

Doesnt always kick you, but will give you the deserter buff

I thought you get auto banned even soft afking? I played like 8 bgs in the beginning of the expac where I was playing two games at once soft afking but at least I’d run in and do damage/ die. had one with a teammate following me telling people to report me.
1 week ban for non-participation, first offense ever. This guy just blatantly afks no ban? I hate the inconsistency of this company so much

The inconsistency is because there is no autoban.
Its funny how people can put auto banning and evidence to auto banning not existing in the same post yet fail to put two and two together. You shouldnt have to explain such simple things.

TBH, you can go in with gear (or best a leveler can get or afford in AH) and still be slapped down hard. I’ve not had the most fun CTA AB memories this weekend. 20, 30 and 60 runs.
The 20ish now 30 felt okay at like 29 lol. THen she graduated…and got hazed as fresh meat to the next bracket grinder.

I leveled a priest from 11 to 61 during the WSG weekend. Similar experience fighting Alliance twinks.
The overall population doing BGs is very low. Most of the time even during CTA weekends in some if not most brackets there is maybe 1 or 2 and at most 3 games going on. (Except for AV weekend where the bots come out of the woodwork and ofc the twinks gather)
I’ve made twinks in every bracket, I’ve enjoyed it to a certain extent. It got boring, quick. Just overpowering people who were defenseless. Fighting other twinks is fun but sometimes we just steamroll them too. There was an imbalance of twinks that is sort of correcting itself within the community. Which shouldn’t have to happen but thats the state of WoW. It’s a dying game and the enthusiasts have to spend money out of their wallets to keep the queues alive and some sort of balance between steamrolling and “fair” fights.
If blizzard added RDF I’d be surprised if any BGs had people leveling in there. Dungeon spamming would be much more fruitful and entertaining than getting your rear reamed by a bunch of twinks that have spent more time and gold than ever necessary just to beat somebody 8 levels below them.

FYI this guy is now level 71. Still doing AFK battlegrounds. Blizzard has not banned them. Just joined strand of the ancients and this scumbag was there.
Blizzard, you are a a shell of what was once a good company.
