So, what are people doing during this DDoS attack?
I am redoing my Skyrim mod list. I rather be getting more pets in WoW.
Went to go play and saw the notification. Don’t know why people do that…know it’s usually a protest but the sad thing is is it punishes the players more than it does the higher ups at WG. As far as what to do…meh World of Tanks is an option. Just wanted to work on some Rep tonight but I guess I can do other things.
I leveled up 10 toons to 60 using Threads of Fate and was working on #11 when my eyeballs crossed and I couldn’t get them uncrossed so I took a break.
Apparently that’s when the DDoS happened. I miss all the fun stuff.
We ended raid and went to bed.
But in all seriousness, what goes through these DDoSers minds thinking they could do this after seeing the lengths that Blizz has went to with previous attackers?

It happened during my guilds progression on mythic Ner’zhul and the ddos itself pretty much put me in a bad mood

Kinda funny and sad in ways that we keep getting someone DDoS attacking WoW lately. Funny in ways as that person or group of people must have no life to keep doing this and sad in the fact that someone honestly thinks anyone cares about them doing this at this point. It’s a good thing I had other stuff to do tonight.

youd think blizz would do something to try and stop/hinder the ddos attackers so it dosnt affect us. it would ​be hard to do, but with the number we are getting nowadays i think its something they should put manpower into fixing.
it would be better for them to try and fix this then making women into fruit, lol
making women into fruit, neutering worgen males, and oh apparently they’re putting Pelagos into a dress in 9.2. So…yeah… I’d say counter DDoS measures would be nice but I question if they got time for it what with how they’re seeming to love stepping on the toes of some of the community

Sped up the yearly clean hangars in eve schedule.
Across alts I get some hanger clutter across the universe. Literally across the universe lol. I have alts and crap all over the places.
So it’s been transport runs to consolidate to the carebear/industrial home system. Sort keepers and sellers.
Should get me some very nice isk and cleaner inventory. Win win.
Torn as to that orca that does the last Jita haul bit. Sell or keep while in jita? It’s close to twice what I paid for it and don’t really use it much. Time to let her go or keep her around for nostalgia?

To most of us its blizz trying to look inclusive but are pushing it to hard (lots of better ways to do it) but ending up looking woke
It’s not just blizz. Alot of games, movies, books, etc have been trying to act “inclusive” but fail to do it correctly in the last few years. It’s like there trying to do heart surgery with a chainsaw
yeah and while there was a lot of ways they could of explained things or done things differently they really picked some odd options. I mean I get some of the jokes or flirts were old or god forbid made or used by their former offensive employees but losing those still had a negative reaction. That and they could of replaced some of the pictures of women with stuff like women in more clothes or knights with their helmets on so the gender seems harder to figure out. Rather than the easy road they took the one that stepped on the toes of a fair bit of their player base. Now we got these DDoS attacks and those annoying people who invaded these forums purely to bad mouth WoW and try to drag people away to FF14, of which I’ve found those people get real nasty towards folk who bad mouth FF14 but hey this is a forum for WoW they can take their FF14 nonsense back to their own forum
How are you so certain this was a DDoS attack and not a technical issue with the DOMAIN CONTROLLER.
No IT guys here with server admin experience, obviously.
i haven’t had any problems logging on to play all afternoon/evening here from Philippines; no DDoS notification from the bnet launcher nor the game client itself
People actually care about this?

Yeah, people think he just hasn’t been with the player long enough and also lacks importance in the plot to suddenly become one of the most important beings in the Shadowlands (at least I think.)
Probably people that are pissed off about the MT.
It’s kind of funny to see blizzard have to deal with this on top of all the other 
they’ve been getting lately lol
There’s a thread about a guy being upset about it as Pelagos’s story is that he’s trans as in life he was a woman and in death he’s a man and now…they’re sticking him in a dress. Idk… just some of the stuff I’ve seen lately
