Special Army of the Dead Summoned - Unholy DK Hidden Artefact Appearance - Quest ID 44188
Multiple reports online and personal experience farming this for a number of hours suggests that the quest has been bugged since 11.0.2.
I have submitted a * Ticket Number: US100590804 and the GM advised that I submit a bug report.
The required trigger no longer seems to work. Please investigate to fix.

I wish we could at least get some verification that the spawn percentage is as low as it used to be. Im seeing a lot about it potentially being bugged since Prepatch, however the wowhead article suggests back in 2017 or so the spawn rate was as low as .2%. I have spent a number of hours in the past few days spamming it in the Proving Grounds to no avail.
Would be pretty rough to find out it was bugged.

This still appears to be bugged - way too many player reports of it not dropping even after days of farming.

Same here. It would be nice if they could give us a confirmation on the last time it successfully dropped for someone.
There are ZERO reports across the entire internet of this dropping for a single person in the last 9 months So the claim Blizzard GMs have made to certain people who put in reports about it are obviously total hogwash. It’s broken, and can’t drop since the War Within pre-patch.
I have been following so many different bug pages and also items related to it on other sites…and there is no sign of anyone receiving this since tww launched. It seems very much broken!
Confirmation of this bug would be nice. I’ve stopped trying to farm it on my DK after hours in proving grounds

There seems to be small traction on this Youtube vid, but that’s all I’ve seen scouring the various wowhead pages and whatnot.
Bros, I’m going to try a work around today.
According to the youtube vid that Egufro shared, theres a person who unlocked the ice/blood hidden artifact first and then did 30 dunegeons.
Which in turn unlocked blood/ice hidden artifact re-color, but also apparently the Bonereaper Hook recolor as well.
Going to try this and confirm on the forums. Wish me luck.
