Hey guys! What do you guys use to advertise Deadmines? DM or VC ? Clearly DM is the superior option as we all know but there are a lot of noobs who prefer VC.
Who uses the last name of a Boss to advertise for a raid/dungeon? LFM Nefarian? LFM Darkmaster Gandling? Ads like this should only be used if you really do only have Nef left in BWL or for raids where you are only killing one boss such as Onyxia.
Also dont use the argument DM is for Dire Maul cause you advertise the wings for Diremaul! DM W, DM N, DM T, DM E. Use reason thanks!
P.S Asmongold is a VC noob
I usually made groups in /1 Westfall so it didn’t matter which one they used, I know they mean deadmines. If they’re advertising in trade or world chat, just shift click their name to see their level. Issue resolved.
Well its not an issue for me personally but i still find it funny that people call Deadmines, Vancleef lol.
I say the full name of the dungeon because I'm not lazy and I don't care for ambiguity, which only causes confusion.

Its DM, if anyone is looking for 1 more tank VC i will join the party, run to the dungeon look at all the mobs NOT cleared to VC and announce that I only came to tank VC, if they wanted to actually run deadmines they should have said so and promptly leave group!
us on the horde see this as a non issue. at least the server i was on we called both deadmines and dire maul , dm
Well if you are questing in Westfall, it would be a troll if someone confused, LFM DM, with Dire Maul. If you are in a capital city spamming chat, DM means Dire Maul and VC means Deadmines.
wasn't it called VC because there were actually groups that intentionally skipped VC because he was too hard so you had to specify that you were going to kill VC?

On ND some new debates rose up because many of us couldn't remember all the details. (lots of brand new players because of announcement last year)
One debate was about druid trainer in SW..whether or not there was one in vanilla.
Back and forth we went. Finally I said.."I'm flying to SW to check it out".
Yup..there was a trainer in The Park but it wasn't as fleshed out as in future expansions. So I flew back and ended that debate.
