Make healers have either the most CC and/or do about 50% the damage of a DPS. So they contribute a LOT more to kills rather than just do the most healing.
If 95% of globals are heals trying to compensate for zug zug PvE rotation players that isn’t fun…
Most people dont like healing in general as evident not only by this games entire lifespan, but every other game with a “support” role. Not my opinion just a statistical fact. You can keep the status quo and let it be a role only masochist enjoy or try something different.

I agree. The issue is that healers ALREADY have too much responsibility. Even an average healer usually has 25+ keybinds, compared to the maybe 10-15 some of the melee DPS have (not counting arena target macros). We are expected to do so much. Trade cooldowns, juke kicks, heal damage, save the idiot who chased behind a pillar, etc.
There is 1 way to improve healing: make it less stressful.The problem is that healers cannot agree on what “less stressful” means.
Fewer keybinds? Less overall DPS? More immunity? More HP? It’s really hard because different players and classes have different sources of stress, but almost all healers agree that our role causes more stress than DPS.
You make it less stressful by removing a portion of their responsibility to keep people alive and give that to individual dps players. DPS is already the easiest role by far which is in part to why its the most popular in WoW and every other game. Embrace the age of self sustainability that fury warriors/dhs/warlocks have for all dps.
You offset this nerf to healer’s ability to heal by increasing offensive capabilities. Some healers dont even have personalized offensive kits in 2023. Restoration shamans have the exact same active rotational damage abilities an Elemental shaman has save 2 (ES/EB, and Icefury if talented) Same goes for pevoker vs devoker, whom the latter only has eternity surge and shattering star if talented.
Actually I think healers should do as much damage as dps, that way its more fun. Not like dps “champs” will ever go play heals regardless if heals did even MORE dmg then dps. but when healers are most fun is when they can contribute to dmg, which is what a lot of people say about disc, they feel like they are apart of the fight not just panicking until someone dies.

the reason healers are not played is because they are not fun and it feels like you have low impact on the game WHEN YOU ARE PERFORMING YOUR ROLE, not because u arent doing damage

I’ve played dps and I’ve played healing actually I’ve played every class above 2k and I have a pretty great idea of what is what, you are displaying a 62 paladin with 263 posts, I am gunna ballpark here you are a troll.
