I’ve never really understood it. Either it’s the proliferation of weird pseudo-trolly ERP there (again, fairly contained) or this bizarre conception that it extends to all of MG and the entire server is one big ERP-crazed creepshow (again, absurd, ERP isn’t actually an issue and it pretty much happens anywhere people roleplay).
Is it not permissible for someone to mention they’ve had a bad run of luck? Yikes.

Alliance or Horde? I can’t speak for Alliance as this character is on MG, not WrA. Horde in Orgrimmar seems generally busy so if that isn’t your normal haunt, you might give it a try and see what bites.
May I ask where you were looking? There always seems to be constant activity in the Valley of Honor but depending on time zones and what day it is, then it can be pretty vacant.

To be fair, it really did seem like you were making a comment towards my post. Why else would you have put ‘I can’t find any rp’ in quotation marks? It seemed like a response to be so I responded back as politely as I could. I apologize if you feel like I attacked your server by mentioning that I haven’t been able to find RP beyond tavern babble.
Alliance for MG, Horde on WrA. Horde is very sleepy usually on MG and while I see plenty of people on WrA, I never really see anyone doing anything other than tavern lingo.
VoH is really one of the only places I know to look. UC is dead, TB is… well if you enjoy Taurens then it’s okay. SM is okay for elves but they seem to be the lusty-RPer type. Looks like VoH is what attracts all the more unique characters so there is where I kind of linger when I’m on. c:

You didn’t attack anything, as far as I’m concerned. Sometimes people can’t find what they’re looking for, that’s all.
So there’s also an issue of the type of RP you’re after, okay. You can seek more guild-oriented RP (not my preference but it’s popular). Also, lately I’ve had lots of people approach my lowbie panda, unexpectedly.
I saw some crazy stuff in Moon Guard’s Goldshire Inn.

But they are a peaceful people, law-abiding and largely respectful in their hedonisms. Let them go in peace, as we shall go to ours.

They really pack in there like sardines, too. A big mass of nude, dancing bodies you can’t even walk through. It’s a bit like the big long building at ending of Uzumaki except everybody’s having a hot party with disco balls and naughtiness.

Are the MG inns really still a thing? I thought that stuff had mostly migrated to specialty websites by now.
Oh no, it’s still a thing. Like 90% trial accounts and accounts from other servers though in for the memes and good times. The rest are usually trolls or pvpers just chilling around to fight with the Horde at the doorsteps. However you can walk in and nearly 10/10 times, be ignored.

I struggle to ignore it to be honest. I genuinely have tried, but given that I’m a huge fan of the human race (and its variants, go Forsaken, Worgen and Kul Tirans!) even the questing experience or simply riding through the area when I’m RPing outside of cities has just made me intensely uncomfortable. IDK maybe it’s just a weird me thing.
As I said though, the server’s apparently quite good overall. I even had a bunch of Horde characters there at one point, when I couldn’t fit them on WRA. It was quiet but not bad. I don’t have anything against Moon Guard. Goldshire just weirds me out, maybe more than it should.

The erp happens only inside the inn (wm off), never seem anything outside. I just knew about that because people told me.
