Yeah this guy really is the end all of fair loot distribution. He would never lie / cheat (gdkp) to gain an advantage.

I can confirm that this isn’t the case. There are leaders with integrity who do LC. I was one of them and there are many guilds we knew who did the same. Remembering all the arguments I’d get in with another officer who wanted to make decisions to get them gold (so they could sell for real money) instead of doing whats best for the guild and our prog… my head spins just remembering it.

There are bad LC’s too. But bad isn’t the default.

the best fair loot system is to have no loot system at all, you simply play and once you beat the encounter you gain something from killing the boss (currency) and you can buy items off the drop table with those currency. “the loot table appears after you defeat the encounter showing each item the boss have in his drop list with numbers required for buying those items”

NOTE each boss have his own currency “it’s not a currency for whole raid” with this, it means certain items will require you to kill the boss xx times, while other same items from boss will require less or more kills, and with each boss have his own different currency people won’t just finish the raid and save to buy items from end boss’s, they still have to farm each boss for it’s own currency to be able to buy from each boss loot table, and they will not go mad if they killed the boss 50x times for a whole year without seeing certain item. (there is no vendor for items!! after you defeat the boss a window pop with the boss loot and if u have enough you buy if not then later)

and to make it easy “because people will say omg too many currency’s” the name of the currency of each boss will be the same as boss name so “gar’s currency / ragnaros’s currency…etc”

this is not gdkp because you do not farm the currency from outside raid, or buy it, and this is not personal loot because personal loot is still RNG for drops! with this, you eliminate the RNG and eliminate the others deciding for you, you play, you raid, with time you get what you wants.
