The Bears Up There

Hi, will leave this one short but sweet. In the Mount Hyjal Questline, The Bears up There Quest is bugged to the point you have to reload 10 times to finish it. Basically you reach the top of the tree to throw the bears on the trampolines but all the buttons do NOT work unless if you either ;

Log Out
/reload 10-15 times to get it to work correctly.

Was this on the character you posted on? Just wondering if it might be a pet class thing. They have been known to have bad interactions with vehicle quests.

I’ve also experienced the buy and have to reload so the option to chuck the bears works. The error occurs frequently.

Just did it recently on a HM tauren warrior. Worked properly.

Same here. Submitted a in game bug report also. Tried logging on, and off, and abandoning the quest. Nothing worked. Reloading the ui over, and over was the only way I could get the quest completed. Edit. Even disabling addons didn’t fix it.

for anyone who gets stuck like this i figured a way around it. basically once yer stuck click on a bear or the keeper youll be able to move again. or atleast thats what worked fer me

This quest is still bugged (and I see several people on my shard having issues right now), but the workaround posted above did work. Just target something new when you get stuck.

The work around for this is to actually click on your toon. If you’re targetting yourself, the buttons become clickable again. No need to /reload.

update! was on a druid. i had to keep reloading to get mine done

Came here to report the same issue. I will try some of the suggestions others shared but this is really annoying. There was a few other people attempting this quest at the same time I was and they just left to quest and level in a different zone.

Yes this worked for me !! Thank you. I just had to click my toon every time I got to the top of the tree.
