I’m sure it’s to smooth over the transition from Exile’s Reach to questing in BfA.
I think it’s fine, tbh. It’s somewhat time-consuming, and doesn’t reward a lot that I can recall. I mostly skipped it on alts.
It’s good to have the scenario available if anyone wants to relive it, but I don’t mind it being moved to the side.
