I used to be a fan, but tbh the game just doesn’t feel like it’s meant for PVP imo. There’s barely any maps and it’s more about playing meta and OP classes of the patch instead of actual skill. For my PVP I go to Halo Infinite or another shooter, just cause I feel they’re more tailored for balance and making sure players face off evenly.

I feel like PvP is lopsided. Some classes have defensive after defensive or interrupts for days while others just don’t have those options. I pvp some and I like pvp but I also play a healer and I do get tired of being like a piece of candy corn next to an anthill.
Plus the gear discrepancy right now is a big factor. I feel like if you didn’t start PvPing on day 1 of level 60 you’ve already missed the bus.

Not really though. The patch released in June, I started pvping in December and I just hit duelist. Also it was my first patch pushing rating. It’s possible if you’re willing to put the effort in.
The learning curve seems pretty big though. I’ve had to practice a lot and I still feel like I’m terrible.

Your point was if you don’t start pvping day 1 you can’t compete. I completely disprove that so you default to “well your class is ez mode.” Kinda sad but I’m not sure what I expected

I have a warrior but I prefer to play healer. I’m not switching to FotM just for some menial achievements and the one shotting solely based on gear and not skill gets old

Also if you actually PvP’d which you obviously don’t you’d realize almost every class is basically Fotm right now.

And there it is. Someone who doesn’t pvp preaching about the current state of pvp and how easy certain classes are. I wish I had the confidence to talk about things that I knew nothing about.

I’ve pvp’d some in the past. Not appealing now and neither is taking lectures from FotM classes.
