I’m not interested in PvP personally.

Almost all the games Blizzard has released over the past decade have been more-or-less PvP-focused. I wonder if thiis disproportionally pulled PvPers away from WoW?

Ok, but it would be even more fun if I got something win or lose.

Under 5% have done mythic sylvanas as well, there just aren’t a lot of players playing, or doing the competitive content as well

edit: mythic

I don’t PvP in WoW because WoW PvP is terrible and always has been.

When I feel like doing PvP, I do it in a game that’s actually designed for PvP.

RBG community has been toxic for years… obviously not all-inclusive, but not enough for me to want to try to push higher rating. Most of my friends that still play aren’t doing any sort of rated PvP. Generally I’ll do regular BGs every now and then, but I’m actually having more fun doing old content than newer stuff right now.

I’m
Surprised unless you mean normal or above. Killing Sylvannas is part of a questline that people might use LFR for

you’re not wrong…

B uuuuuu t

if what you get for losing is a decent amount, then win or lose matters less, and instead you just have a grind of queue-end quickly-queue again - play quickly - queue again.

that’s the go-go-go-go mentality from PvE but in PVP. you dont want that…

PvP is so fun wish I got into arena sooner

Isnt that the same in pve though? I always hated going to a raid and not getting loot after being in there for a few hours

loot is for winners… in PvE.

I find arena and rated battlegrounds to be unfun and boring. I’m not surprised not many people do them.
I find adding rare exclusive only mounts you get from ranked pvp as a bad system. I can understand people like challenge but they remove the mounts so you can never get them again. I find this strange considering the pve mounts you get from mythic kills become harder to get after the season ends, but in pvp they completely remove the mounts. I would prefer them to add the mounts back later on maybe as a random drop from doing a random bg or with a large amount of marks of honor. I can understand a lot of people won’t agree with me as they want to be a ‘special snowflake’ but its a completely stupid reason. How many people do you see with the pvp netherwing drakes from tbc? no one because bearly any of those players still play as it was almost 20 years ago lol if blizzard want people to pvp then add the mounts back. Make rated pvp still matter but the rewards can be required at a later date - just like in pve mythics.

Yea it’s why a lot of people don’t raid anymore either

I really dislike PvP. Classes aren’t balanced, and it seems to be all about nailing the other guy to the floor and then chopping them down.

Pve is a lot more fun. Timing a m+ is very satisfying. Ganking is not.

I enjoy pvp, but never have time to grind out the gear, so it’s not as fun, especially when I like alts.

Wow is not a good PvP game. Dps rotations are tailored around having time to use them, and healers and tanks can’t kill anything on their own. The gearing gap makes it worse because you never know if you lost because of skill or because the guy has X or Y trinket, or just higher item level. The lack of clarity doesn’t help, you never know what killed you or why the guy in front of you didn’t receive any damage from your hardest hitting ability. It is just not fun to play, and the rewards are meager at best.

Because this game has some of the worst pvp combat I’ve ever seen.

15 years ago I would strongly disagree with my comment but tab targeting and running around chasing people isn’t even close to fun for me. It feels and looks so old against live players.

If I want to text my skill against another person it’s going to be a shooter, fighting game or dark souls

(Back in myyy daay…) I used to do mid level pvp years ago, on the old honor points system, before heirlooms. It was fun then. I used to do group content, in general, much more regularly. Now, people are, in general, much more tightly wound, and that scene is just stressful and not fun. I’m sure that there are people out there that do these things and do not fall into this category… but, I’ll be honest… I simply don’t have the wherewithal to keep up. I often think it would be cool to have a crew with which to do things, but every time in the recent past that I have joined a guild, I am so far behind everyone… So, I just simply don’t care anymore. I’d rather play on my umpteenth hunter than do group content, including pvp, ever again.

And what do I get if I win? :sunglasses:
