To use an Arcane Mage as a showcase character in the new content update video and have them use Arcane Missiles! It’s like they’re actively trying to tilt me!

The fact that a dev actually logged in on an Arcane Mage to record this, witnessed first hand the state they’re in, and they still haven’t done anything about it is WILD!

No, what’s audacious is to have arcane mage ethereal elites in Naigtal that put up los-blocking shields, throw arcane bombs and machine gun missiles at about 3x the damage ours do.

You should hop on the PTR, right now everyone is testing Sunfury Arcane. You’ll see literally a million Arcane Missiles in under 5 minutes if you just sit by the training dummies.
Prismatic Bolt is great. Very fun, hits super hard, fun to cast. Really fun proc. I like that it has a cast time and rewards you so much. It looks like a fun ability for pvp, too, lol, although it’ll be hard hard hard nerfed in pvp I am sure.
The new set bonus focuses on a Missle build. That’s mainly why. There is some hope there.
I know but all the power is in the tier set. Missiles at baseline were not buffed at all, except for the Apex talent node. Missiles aren’t bad just because they don’t do enough damage but mostly because they don’t interact with Arcane Salvo as well as Arcane Orb does. None of the changes address that fundamental issue. And as good as Prismatic Bolt is, it’s still tied to Arcane Salvo and if you can’t generate stacks efficiently you won’t see it at all.
