Quest NPCs should have a ? above their heads when they have a quest available, like “Hey, would you like to do a quest?” ← see the question mark.
It should be a ! when your quest is complete…like “Hey you! Come here and give me an update on that quest I gave you!”

“Over here, adventurer!”
“How’s progress on the thing I hired you for?”
It’s “Hey! I have a quest for you!”
and “Did you do it yet? How about now? Or… NOW?”
Tbf, it can be used the otherway around too.
! = “Hey you! i need help!”
? = “Did you complete what i’ve tasked you?”

i don’t think this need to be change honestly speaking a lot of players already gotten used to the way the ? and ! works on WoW.

Yeah, even if the other way around were more “logical” we’re about 25 years too late to change it.
They changed to dragon flying after 18 years. I think some people would love it, and some would hate it.
true but Dragonflying is just Blizzard trying to make a new way of flying that allows you to travel on air just as much as traveling on ground.
the old flying mode your mount never gets tired so basically you could skip a HUGE chunk of land that it was design to be explore on foot not on flying mounts.
so Dragon Flying to me makes sense because of the way it is design.
but the ! and the ? is actually depending on how you look at it, as other have mention before the ! could very well mean “Hey! You, i need help here!” and the ? could be looked as “Are you done with what i ask for before?” or “what is the results of the Quest?”
Just saying, flying was change for a good reason in my honest opinion.
