In a number of hours, horde forces and morale have been completely devastated by the alliance war machine. The savages of the horde have fallen to a glorious alliance advance millions of times.
Without massively outnumbering the alliance the Horde have been slain like whimpering dogs, a trend that is sure to continue throughout Classic.

I think anyone with any vanilla WoW experience expected Alliance to dominate AV. It is, after all, a PvE-oriented battleground so it makes sense it’s the one Alliance would excel at.

It does effect it, the world is empty now as the people who were standing around spamming tab + 1 for a fraction of an hk are now standing around in AV for the easy honor. I would say this is a double win for alliance.
I took it as an impact to the story around those zones. But you’re right entirely by it killing whatever presence of players were there before.
I had my first 1v1 since phase 2 after bgs dropped, it was amazing, I kept waiting for the rogues to jump in and no one came to the hordes rescue.
That will be something you’ll remember. Going to AV for the billionth time mad dashing to Drek’s room will be a blur.
