For all those that keep hating on Sylvanas, I’ve been doing much research on the various conflicts and can point out several instances where the Alliance has committed several atrocities.
1-Dwarves disturbing the elements in Mulgore.
2-Sacking a Tauren village outside Mulgore.
3-Ignoring the treaty and invading Durotar.
4-Massacre of unarmed orcs in the Jade Forest.
5-Technically the Alliance and Horde were in a state of Cold War it was actually Varian that declared war on the Horde first.
6-During the War Campaign, night elves attacked innocent blood elves that were non-combatants.
7-The Alliance ran concentration camps for orcs.
8-The Alliance was responsible for Arthas and Daelin Proudmore.
9-Underpaid workers from the Stonemason’s guild leading to the Defias Brotherhood.
10-Let’s face it, they are the bad guys in the Alterac Valley PVP battle.
11-The purge of Dalaran
12-Crashed an airship into a giant turtle.
13-Launched an unprovoked attack on Forsaken forces in Stormheim when fighting the Legion should have been the top priority.
14-Attacked Zandalar and killed a sovereign king. And cute dinosaurs too.
15-Has gnomes and even worse Mechagnomes.
Have I convinced you yet that the Alliance has no moral highground to stand on yet?

Some of those were in response to some horde action.
And you have genocide and attempted genocide on your side. Plus the use of not one, but two weapons of mass destruction.

Saurfang already slapped his BFF Anduin for trying to compare the levels of the murder/genocide and destruction between factions…you should probably listen to one of the few “heroes” your side can hang a hat on.

I find these conversations funny following a thread about faction imbalance.
Blizz doesn’t even know the story or who did what to whom anymore. I think both sides have selective amnesia.

I don’t know all the details about the game’s lore but…
What I can tell, as a noob, just by looking at what happened during BFA is that Alliance is ruled by a pretty decent King with good values. Jaina is also a good person. On the other side, Sylvanas and the zombie guy are total evil trash with no sense of honor at all.
I don’t need to see anything else really. The whole stuff is pretty black and white. This isn’t Game of Thrones.

Who ever said they had the moral high ground? Both sides do scummy and often nonsensical things to each other. As for Sylvie, “not my warchief,” as a troll I feel more akin to the night elves (we they ancestors, mon) than to undead, tbh. She is a dead elf, granted, but on very thin ice with me. Looking forward to reuniting with Vol’Jin in SL.

The Alliance and Horde are meant to be contrasts with a mix of grey. Nobody is saying the Alliance is spotlessly clean, but it’s ridiculous to say they’re as bad as the Horde. The Horde are meant to be the faction for those who want to cross over into questionable territory and do bad things while still having some grey. Alliance are meant to be the faction for those who want to be primarily goody two shoes while still having some grey. It’s a primary reason Horde calls Alliance “boring”.

Your list looks damning on the surface but lacks a lot of needed detail to put it in context.
The only “villain” the Alliance had that is comparable to Sylvannas off the top of my head was Arthas.
Edit: upon further though, Medivh also popped into my head.

The jade forest was probably the worst thing I’ve seen in the game. And dont forget the estimated 90 percent of orcs killed in orgrimmar just to get to garrosh.
But all the people who were good Horde were outside the gates.

Treating your people so badly that they’re homeless though…
It’s one of the many things that has bothered me about Stormwind humans, for all they crow about the light, they sure seem to neglect the needs of their people more than the Tauren or Orcs do
