So saw something horrible today. Made me sick to my stomach. A piece of my soul died. I’ve never been so ashamed to wear the blue cape and tabard.
I was questing, minding my own business… and all of a sudden I found a cute little bunny rabbit. It was a world quest, to kill the helpless innocent rabbit, but naturally as a druid, one who loves nature, azeroth, and all of its woodland critters, naturally I couldn’t bring myself to do it. What does a druid gain if he gains the whole world yet loses his soul? What reward could entice someone to kill such a helpless beautiful little creature.
Then suddenly a human warrior showed up and started attacking the poor defenseless little bunny. Naturally I begged him not to harm it. Go fight a horde warrior or at least a bear or a wolf, something that could at least fight back. But the warrior didn’t listen and continued to attack the poor baby bunny. Then a dwarf death knight joined the fray. Then a gnome warlock. All ganging up on a poor little rabbit. As a druid i begged them to stop. Nature would never forgive such a horrible cowardly action. I tried to heal the poor bunny but at least I was outnumbered and couldn’t keep up.
Finally the baby bunny died. Those scoundrels collected their loot. And I just sat there in silence for hours, tears running down my eyes. I had to reflect on my life choices and what brought me here to this point. Had I been so blind? Where was this so called light? Where was elune’s grace? Where was this so called nobility of this so called alliance. Alliance of evil is what it really is. Shame. Shame on those demons, wolves in sheep’s clothing. Well my eyes have been opened.
Sure the horde may have burned down my tree. It was corrupted. We all know it. Maybe they did this hollow world a favor. But at least they never killed an innocent, defenseless baby bunny! It’s the alliance that is the real enemy. I will never forgive them and never forget this day. I swear on my life and honor as a druid I will join the righteous horde and make the wicked alliance pay! They will bleed until there’s nothing left just like what those wicked men did to my friend.
He’s either talking about the Cottontail Matron(Rabbit corrupted with Death Magic by the Drustvar Witches) or the Darkmoon Rabbit(which has blood on it’s mouth)…
as a death knight are you not also corrupted by death magic? You would think you would be a little more tolerant of one with such an affliction considering you share the same trait.
I’m sure if the priests or druids put their heads together they could have saved the poor baby bunny. We did raise the dead with calia didn’t we? Surely the light or nature goddess could have cured this precious woodland animal.
Funny but aren’t Death Knights constantly afflicting pain on others to keep themselves from going insane with pain and going on a rampage massacring innocents?
Killing Bunny Rabbits is expected of them. Especially ones that are randomly attacking them after fiddling with some random skull(which is what I was doing before being ambushed and attacked by the Cottontail Matron).
Wow this is written to be the most stereotypical tree hugging druid that only accepts the happy fun side of nature and ingores the fact nature is messed up and dark.
The young king turned his gaze back to the map. “Any word from the queen?” The Gilneans from the Howling Oak encampment had come through shortly after Mia left. The queen had stayed longer to coordinate efforts in Darnassus, and Anduin was uneasy about that choice.
“She sends letters,” Genn said. “Damn stubborn woman. She’ll send every last rabbit through before she’ll come herself.”
And then we have the obvious lines from A Good War:
“Only innocents remain in the tree.”
Men, women, children . . . the fire would not care. Fire had no honor, no reason, only the urge to consume until there was nothing left.
Add two and two together. The Horde killed countless innocent baby bunnies.
The spring rains were particularly heavy this year, causing some of the forest's beasts to flourish while others suffered.
Unfortunately, the nightsaber and thistle boar populations grew too large. Shadowglen can only produce so much food for the beasts. Journey forth, young <class>, and thin the boar and saber populations so that nature’s harmony will be preserved.
Thinning the younger population of creatures here in Shadowglen was a good start, <name>, but there is still work to be done.
The resources of the forest will be depleted too quickly if the problem is not addressed. Killing nature’s beasts is a necessary evil for the good of all who share the land.
