Adding more skimpy mogs to the game doesnāt add more skimpy people to the game.
It just allows the skimpy people we already have at home to look better

Meh. Some of the underwear mogs look absolutely atrocious, partly because of just how terrible equipment in general looks in this game for Most armors made before Legion.
But of course if they HD-ify a lot of them, then more people will wear them and yes youāll get more people running around in underwear.
Standard gear for a Dracāthyr, thereās not a whole lot of choice there, and thereās not much to see unless you have some kind of weird fantasy about lizards.
EDIT: I donāt even have anything transmogged. Thatās just her gear that she got from her questing.
Remaster of all old stuff would be nice. What would be cool is if they did a reverse cataclysm type expansion. Where every zone, armors, etc get redone. While they redo it they could maybe redevelop it? Like, so new expansion could involve eastern kingdoms and kalimdor but they yank the current maps. New maps will be larger and up to date, so elwynn forest is like two or three times the size, etc. all new textures and what not. A dream for sure.
That would take a monumental effort and I donāt know if it would really be worth it.
You saw how players reacted to Cataclysm, and the fact that redoing EK/Kalimdor with just some zone touchups/updating and new quests stole content away from the endgame, and how people were like āpfft they shoulda never wasted resources on thatā.
You think theyāre going to absolutely re-do the entirety of EK/Kalimdor with new terrain? Thatās probably like making the Dragon Isles a good 5 times over.
Dracthyr can wear a LOT more than that. You could even have a chestpiece lol
The fact is: You are playing a Race that has the power to wear skimpy outfits for free at will with current expansion quality and you are using that power.
All Iām asking is for some way to extend that privilege to other races

I didnāt transmog anything, thatās just how the gear looks naturally.
And to be honest, I think I would rather wear a robe. Iām just too lazy to mog a piece Iāll be replacing after spending 5 minutes on the Waking Shores.
They need to remastered everything from Vanilla through Mists. Thereās some really basic vanilla swords, like the Highlander style scottish claymores that have absolutely no modern analog.
Some really great stuff being held back by itās ancient low-poly rendering.

Yes, thatās how you created it at the character creation screen. You could have added clothes. You can even do it right now, just head to the barbershop and add dragon clothes there.
You chose the skimpy model when you created this character. Thatās fine. Iām neither judging nor criticizing. Maybe you just thought clothes on a dragon is a weird thing. Thatās fine.
But Iām playing a Demon and I think clothes on a demon are weird too

Not necessarily. There are AI tools that can do it quickly. Then someone need to look at the result to fix any bugs the AI may have made.

It aināt like AI is demonized and called evil by a huge number of people or anything.
Iām sure using AI would be an awesome PR move for a company already struggling with PR.
There isnāt even a rush to do it. do a bit at the time.
AI as a tool, think of it as a āIncrease sharpness filterā in a graphics program. And there is still a need for a human to operate it.

But thereās this huge āAnti-AIā thing on the internet these days, where people absolutely hate people using AI to generate stuff.
Would dig updated pixel count for plate armor the likes of which Iām wearing.

After the whole fruit bowl thing, I wouldnāt go crossing my fingers that theyāre gonna add more platekinis and similar.
I think there are acceptable levels of AI.
Using AI to generate something new from pieces of art from other artists without their consent is bad.
But Blizzard could train an AI with every little bit of HD Blizzard-style art they ever made and use that AI to upscale the resolution of old items that were already created by hand by Blizzard.
That is ethical use of AI. If anyone hates on that, itās just hate for the sake of hate.
Plus: We donāt need to know how the sausage is made. If they donāt say anything, we will never know lol
