I’ve been trying to farm the gold (gilded) shoulders on this toon, and was wondering if I can get all the appearances from layer 9 or if i have to go higher to get the ones i want. Any help would be appreciated.
Seemed random to me but I did get all of them from Layer 12.

Just don’t kill the broker vendors if you plan to go into the Adamant Vaults. I learned that lesson the hard way.
Kill 1st, don’t kill 2nd.
The vendor in the vaults ended up being the 1sts one, so he was dead.
Can I still get the appearance if i dont kill any of them?
Yes; you only don’t get the appearances if you kill the one that shows up on Floor 7 (which has always been the same as the Floor 5 vendor in my experience).
