Resto shaman still with 0 changes, how exciting.
Revolutionary changes.
These become way less fun when you realise he is serious and might have some serious damage somehwere.

Rogues are missing two talents in alpha and beta is near.
How can shadowlands be in a near ready state?
Seems like Ele and Enhancement… stole your thunder.
Bad pun. Will accept my punishment.
M8 two talents are easy to make.
Finding how they ll fix shadow priests, is definitely far far harder when they thought merely bringing DP back would solve anything
Your punishment is to keep reading ralphs replies.
Just so we are clear Ralph thinks they can handle 5 systems that all stack on each other when they can’t even fix a single spec. LOL
I mean, a green parse isn’t in conflict with his stated position on elitism in the community.
There are other bones to pick, but that ain’t one.
Well those probably will be filled with 2 passives that don’t do anything and are worthless. So excited.
groans
Fine.
It certainly gives weight that he refuses to pick anything popular because it’s the meta choice.
Still uses weapon enchants and ring enchants, meta scum.
That would be unfortunate but not surprising!
The current devs don’t care about the current MoP styled talent trees as they haven’t grown since WoD.
I don’t see the issue. If anything, I wish they’d stream like that more often.
I love what the ESO/Bethesda people do. They stream them playing the game and actually answer questions brought up in chat. It’s wonderful.
That would fix the issue, if they made mini streams like that it wouldnt have backfired to them like it did now.
it was the only major dev stream in a long time, dont remember when we had the last stream, which of course got many people’s hopes up
This will be the only like you get from me panda man, atleast we can agree on the actual problems from the stream.
I honestly am suprised people even care what companies say about the other stuff anymore
feature complete :^)
Unholy DKs don’t feel complete to me.
Yeah, definitely a case of failed expectations. I dreamed of some announcements like “we’ve heard your class feedback, expect some massive pivots down the line”, but it was more like a monthly update. Not a lot of new information actually. Basically two biggest pieces of news were beta and the fall release time.
I personnaly disagree the stream was great.
Lot of new interesting stuff were announced.
Yes there’s a lot of new systems, but they will basicly replace mostly old systems.
New daily system “powering zones” is replacing emissary system and should reduce the amount of daily while adding choice to it.
New small rp systems basicly like Ardenweal garden is great, adding rp value to covenant.
Renown is a good compromise on the ap system, making it timegated is reasonable so you can play alts. Hopefully there will also be some type of catchup for alts which I feel they said there will be some with all systems in Shadowlands seeming alt friendly.
And obviously again he told us he understand covenants might be problematic. Hopefully they fix it before release. This is the only major concern I have about Shadowlands and it needs to be adressed for a lot of players.
So mostly all good stuff. Just was rushed so people didn’t have time to absorb it. Ion was basicly Eminem on the mic.
The warlock update we got also with/after the stream is a great update. Adding an interrupt to demo warlocks again.
Which we already knew, and streamers hyping it up with guesses like cinematics, new big systems, class design talk etc didnt help with the hype build up.
I never get hyped and I recommend it! Hype only exists as a way for businesses to make money.
Actually, I’m wrong. There’s a good thing about hype: it increases the playerbase. Because people who are hyped tell their friends. But then those friends leave when the content isn’t as enjoyable as they believed it would be.
So my point is: I hope SL lives up to the hype. Otherwise, whoops!
Shadowlands doesn’t feel like an expansion. Legit…it feels like a major patch.
