This quest (The Accuser) has been bugged for some time now as you’ll never be given the special ability “Door of Shadows” using “/cast Door of Shadows” also doesn’t work as we’re never given the ability in the first place. I’m able to bug my way past the barrier but it doesn’t toggle the next phase of the quest as it’s telling me to cast the ability. Maybe, just maybe, remove the requirement to cast the ability and just to speak to her as a hotfix

I’m having the same problem … hopefully someone at blizz sees this and helps … tried doing everything on wowhead and other forums … a lot of people were coming there as well while i was doing this and all had the same issue

has anyone had any luck speaking to a GM? I have a ticket up for the issue and I am hoping that it isn’t an AI reply telling me to /reload or something of that nature. In a case like this would they just move you to the next quest in the questline?

Different quest in the chain but we seem to be having the same issue with a missing spell. First GM got back to me with a link to a wowhead comment showing where the NPC to finish the quest was. The second GM gave me the typical /reload, clear cache advice and said if that didn’t help to submit a bug report. Which I did

im having the same issue with not being given a spell but im on the quest infusing the wild seed and not being given the soulshape spell if yall can comment on the post below this called infusing the wildseed no soulshape spell given ill try to get people to comment on this to try and get more traction on the posts

they answered my bug report and told me to walk up on foot to the door, which is how you fix the previous bug in the quest if it doesnt start correctly for you, and has nothing to do with the bug in question of the ability not being given. typical

Same problem here, the quest doesn’t give you the ability door of shadows, so it cannot be completed, im trying to finish my SL campaign but this quest doesn’t work.
I tried reloading, relogin, going there on foot, flying, forcing myself thru the barrier which doesnt trigger the next part of the quest, abandoning the quests tons of times and re-taking it, repairing the game via launcher settings, using /cast door of shadows, looking in my spellbook, NONE OF THOSE THINGS WORK, QUEST IS BROKEN,

Seriously … there seems to be a lot of area abilities broken in SL … can we just get them fixed and not ignored? … i see that the infusing seed quest is also broken … luckily I did this the day before it seems to have broken … maybe its general breaking in the SL area abilities en masse …
THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED ASAP !!!

i replied to keep my ticket open, hopefully a human being with a brain actually replies this time. I have a feeling this issue wont get solved.

still cant get the ability, and cant complete the quest, I’m unable to finish shadowlands because of this

Please open a support ticket for it, they will have to acknowledge it at some point.
I just figured it out, eat the plant go inside by backing up into the door with the accuser, abandon the quest and accept it again from inside, walk close to the door to activate the mirror animation, wait until the accuser asks you to speak with her and eat the plant again and reverse out. It finally worked for me.

Awesome! Sad that I had to spend all this time doing blizzards job!
Blizzard replied to my ticket for the third time this morning and said that they finally have looked into the reports and have sent the issue to the dev team to investigate.
