The 9.1 update quest "Battle of Ardenweald" is unplayable

There is around a 9 second spell cast delay, and It’s logged me out multiple times. Both times it erased my progress. I turned off all my add-ons. I also tried it on another computer just incase. Still isn’t working. My husband was able to play his character through just fine. It seems to be specific to my account.

We wait all this time, pay a monthly fee, and this is the crap we get. Final Fantasy is looking better every day

I get disconnected every time doing stage 6 and come back to a empty oribos stuck in combat. The only way to get out was to jump off the side wait a bit to login and be dead. fix this crap i can’t progress my character.

I just posted this on the Mac support forum - not sure if its a game bug or a Mac problem:

Three times I’ve tried to complete the intro quest “The Battle Of Ardenweld” and the game crashes in the same spot every time (with, or without, addons enabled).

I’m on an iMac 27-inch, late 2013, with OS 10.13.6

I progress through the quest line to where you’re to “Mount Trained Flayedwing” and shoot the monsters with slime.

Problems:

  1. the up and down directional arrows are reversed, and they only point straight up, or straight down, making it impossible to “target” anything.
  2. I can manage to slime 8/30 monsters then the game crashes.
  3. Disconnect/crash error is WOW51900319

I would really like to be able to go forward in the quest chain so I can earn flying.

Same disconnect during the The Battle of Ardenweald; also on a Mac.

I have tried this 3 times! Got to the slime part and at 6 or 7 slimes I get dc’d and come back to an empty Oribos…non of my chars can progress~!!!

I cant still do the battle of ardenweald. I get booted right at the slime part. And ported back to a empty oribos. I thought if I waited i would be able to do the quest.

I’m having same exact issue. part 6 of the slime attack when I get to a score of 16 of 30, then dc’s. All my alt’s having same issue.
Amazing how my avatar here and the specs are also completely wrong.

I get the exact same error. I’m also on a Mac (Macbook Pro, 2019, OS 10.15.7).

I actually managed to get 25 slimes this time before I got disconnected my 7th time!! Playing on my Mac, I restarted, disabled addons-nothing, this is extremely frustrating!

As an update- on my 6th try I got through the slimes. Still don’t know what made that try different, if it was just that I got faster or if some weird glitchy conditions weren’t met? Good luck, all. Hope this is fixed soon.

I’m also unable to play “Battle of Ardeweald”. My character gets disconnected every time I’m on the worm sliming invaders. I’m so sad and frustrated because I still cannot get into the new Korthia content.

I’m on a Dell G3 gaming laptop and I cannot do it either.

Tried doing this now and got disconnected. Not even going to try again and get disconnected again. Frustrating to say the least.

This happening on other toons too. It been like this for me for three days already. Get to stage 6 and it d/c all the time. I have abandon the quest and restart the quest same thing happens. Once i started the quest I no longer see the calling quest givers.

I just tried to get past stage 6 in the Battle of ArdenWeald for the 7th time and I am still getting disconnected. This is still broken.
