It was 7 years ago on this very day that history was made. The first ones came together each representing a different guild with similar teachings and ideologies. Zemphyr of Demonlords, Phantom of The Black Parade, Michael Octavian of Soul Erasers, and I myself (then known as Unsung) the passionate and twisted demagogue who would inspire both terror and wonder established a common banner, the first Exusia.
We furnished those who had been ostracized from the community and had no place to call home. Griefers, trolls, ninja looters, and those who were simply misunderstood were all given a place to call home. Rather than discourage such practices we made the darkness in the hearts of these men and women more potent, forging them into a weapon to be wielded for a higher cause, the total eradication of the enemy faction (Heroes in DCUO).
One would ordinarily think that gathering those unfettered by man’s laws and morality would result in disaster. That was not the case for us. We gave them discipline and structure. They had but 3 core tenets to observe: Honesty, Loyalty, and Respect. Those were sacred in Exusia and were to be exhibited at all times to our members and the institution of our guild as a whole. However, such treatment was optional for the lowly ones outside of our order. The heroes though were to be shown no mercy under any circumstance whatsoever.
These laws accompanied by the other teachings within the Supreme Manifesto (Codex Exusiai) guided us to an age of wisdom, of splendor, and prosperity. As we expanded beyond our core membership our appetite for conquest only became more insatiable. Espionage, propaganda, and other unsavory political machinations could often be traced back to us. Despite this, we managed to earn respect from many of our peers especially due to our radical partisanship that we spread within the faction which fundamentally changed the very culture of the community for a time.
Time went on… War, strife, betrayal, and succession, all of it left our mark upon the hearts and minds of our contemporaries. DC Universe Online, Archeage, Black Desert Online, and now World of Warcraft. Our people have stood firm despite the test of time. What lies ahead in the future you may ask? Well, as the current representative of the Warcraft branch, I will say our conquest is not over until the heavens themselves have yielded!
We are the first guild in history to establish ourselves as a corporate entity. One day we could very well have our own IPO. There is no limit to the power within each of us! My comrades shall know no defeat and our conquest shall continue long after the final star grows dark.
To my comrades! To our hegemony! To Exusia! May the sun never set on our empire!
