Eh, standard patch cycle still exists. Dragonflight got its 10.x and 10.x.5s. All these micropatches outside of those are bonus points. I don’t think they’re worth it personally, but it’s not like they’re the bread and butter. They’re gap fillers.
This particular one is garbage because they intentionally hyped it up as something notable on their roadmap and deliberately kept it “secret”… aaaaaand it’s just a limited event. Don’t bother marking it on the roadmap if its not gonna be there 2 weeks after it launches.

Counterpoint: the potential for someone to ‘miss out’ on something is not inherently a problem.
No-one is entitled to receive every reward the game has to offer for simply paying a sub. The only thing a paying a sub guarantees is a chance to attempt to earn the rewards that are available when you’re subscribed (if you even want them).

That’s fine reasoning and all, but it is a terrible feeling to miss out on a limited time event or its rewards for reasons outside your control in a digital environment, where said scarcity does not usually need to happen, unlike real life.
Like I said above, while progressing on Antorus, my PC died and I was too broke at the time to get a replacement in time, which made me lose the Violet Spellwing.
I can’t even try to get it again. And I know it isn’t a supply problem (“they don’t make it anymore”) as it is a digital item with “infinite availability”, that won’t return for reasons.

Why have you not nerfed Tindral and Fyrakk again yet?
There’s no way you guys are actually going to do a fated season after you released Tindral on us, right? Is CE Amirdrassil going to run alongside S4?
Why are you nerfing classes? People just reaching these two are going into some of the hardest fights ever with less healing and DPS. Players should be getting buffs only this late into the tier.
We know that you guys see the completion rates. Can we get some clarification as to whether you want the clear rates to be this low or not?
