Idk I liked S3.
I have finished most of my seasonal objectives by now, so now I am bored of it as per usual after 2 months. Only the delve boss remains.
Remix will hopefully keep me entertained for a while and then I am waiting for midnight.
The alternative would be to unsub now and wait until midnight.
So it’s literally the same as if they had run a S4 with Remix on the side. Thanks for confirming.

I dont think many ppl played S4 in DF and even from those many were unhappy with it, thats why its gone.

M+ in its current statical nature (no affixes), cant really keep me interested for more than 2 months.
And add to this the idiotic turbo boost event that is a literal spit in the face of every m+ player just like it was in S2.
I personally consider the season concluded with the end of 11.2.0.
My alternative is to mine ore for 5 to 10 hours a day on my days off and sell it before the expansion.

You’re telling me that S3 is garbage without just saying “S3 is garbage” directly.
Everything went in to housing. To be fair it looks a lot better than I thought it would, so at least that yielded some results. Sucks for the people that didn’t want housing, they’ll just have to wait for resources to trickle back in to the rest of the game. Maybe by Last Titan. If you’re one of those people you can just hope that the housing people are happy with how it turned out.

Sorry housing will be interesting for some people for like a few weeks, then it just becomes either something ignored by most of the playerbase, or Garrisons 2.0 that feel required to be in constantly.
I’d much rather be in town with everyone else than in my own special instance that feels empty and Sims-lite.

If they support this properly this will have a colossal impact on the game, I think.
For me it won’t even be interesting long enough to get through the quests required for opening it up, which will more than likely be shoved in your face consistently until it’s done.
It’s just a ripcord that every MMO eventually pulls when things get/feel tight.
They were going to tell us we’d have to lose a raid tier for housing, like with garrisons, but then they split the first raid tier into three raids, so now they can say our total number of raids for the expansion is unchanged
Hosing wont have the functions that garrisons did. Its purely cosmetic and not required. The devs even said housing will in no way help you do anything else in the game such as leveling, crafting, or making gold.
lol, you really do not understand inflation do you? That means paying the same price in inflation-adjusted dollar for the same product/service value. Wrath costs $40 + $15/mo sub fee back in November-2008, the expected price for the same level of product in August-2025 would be $61 + $22.88/mo, yet base-price expansions went up $10 (not $20) and the sub fee HAS NEVER CHANGED SINCE VANILLA. Sure the added reliance on the cash shop helps increase revenues to keep pace with inflation while NOT raising the sub-fee, and breaking the game into tiers means those that want the base experience can still afford it, while those that want and can afford more, actually get more.
Or would you rather it was the case that an expansion was all-inclusive (not broken into price tiers with extras at each higher tier) and cost $60-65 with a sub fee of $22-25/mo? Cuz that’s the alternative… go study some basic economics before you decide to argue against the simple principle of consumer price inflation.

So, you don’t speak for everyone. This is a feature I’ve wanted since I started playing in 2004 and I’m more excited about this and the Prey system (which is brand new) than another raid or dungeons, which we’re getting a bunch of as well.
Excited for delves, too.
I mean, it’s all about housing, delves and world content for me.
Also, even without housing it’s a very full expansion launch. So what if we didn’t get a brand new class? We have a lot of them already.

Doing it now makes the game worse.
They dont ever think ahead, void expansion feels like they are weak, never been a threat cause ya know … good ol dim sims got defeated in 1 battle… woah the power of the void sure is scary…
