I feel attacked.

Are you mostly doing crafts, WQs, and delves?

Crafts for ilvl, flying through balls for weathered crests, wax and world quests / events for flightstones. Donā€™t spend your spark tho.

Saving all my delve keys + not doing any until season starts.

Spamming heroics is bad for gearing, bad for crests, and bad for flightstones.

Ironically I plan to mostly play Delves for PVE content this season, so having a competitive ilvl doesnā€™t really matter anymore. I guess when youā€™ve been pugging for as long as I have old habits die hard. Lol

i went dirt diggin and got 150 of odd wax to turn in. every 50 is 100 valor

Even in that Iā€™d rather not get stuck at X difficulty due to my ilvl before I can do tier 8s.

Especially since I donā€™t wanna use keys in anything before at least champion track because itā€™s a waste.

What grind and why are you wasting all the ones you do have before Mythic/Raids unlock?

It is kinda funny that heroics are the least efficient way to get anything that heroics offer, be that gear, crests, or flightstones.

Itā€™s made the whole pre season feel extremely weird.

Thereā€™s best in slot items that will be nice before the season starts, like the aforementioned Sacbrood.

See a mound of purple dirt, start digging. If lucky youā€™ll get an odd globs of wax, 1to 2 valor stones, maybe a resonance crystal, some mats, and a grey.

And fun thing, if someone has already dug up the spot and fighting whatever spawned, if youā€™re a helping out killing the spawn you get the rewards as if you dug them up yourself.

There are much faster ways to farm valorstones than heroics, which are quite slow. That said though Iā€™m not going to post them here as I donā€™t want nerfs incoming since Iā€™ve been able to fully upgrade 3 characters really fast with this.

Trinkets is the exception yes, but given you donā€™t have enough crests total to upgrade everything nothing else really is worth looking at.

I fully upgraded two Adventurer pieces and have enough crests to fully upgrade two more and then some.

Yes and you have 16 slots.

You canā€™t max everything so 593 Vs 590 is a meaningless distinction. It costs 30 crests to get a crafted 590 Vs 60 crests to upgrade an item to 593.

How many Weathered Harbinger Crests are you going to use in Season 1? Maybe some on Looking For Raid gear (that opens up a week after Season 1)?

None, but I can get more ilvl per crest crafting with them than I can upgrading with them.

I have heroic raid approximately 90 minutes after work on reset day. My ilvl I get during pre season is the ilvl I raid at.

Fair, but Iā€™m an Herbalist and Alchemist so Iā€™m not going to waste gold putting in Work Orders when I can use my freely obtained crests instead.
