Did you know the ratings doesn’t matter anymore when there are many more ways to watch a single show.
the show went down hill ever since timeless child and never able to get 5M+ veiwing ratings

It’s a gurantee that it will get a season 3.
Doctor Who isn’t anywhere what it was now that Disney has hold of it.
It’ll get a season 3 because they will try to wring whatever money they can out of it while pandering to as many people as possible and simultaneously sucking the life out of the show.
Doctor Who, for the most part, is over.

Oh so you’re one of those people. Well, guess what doctor who is doing just fine. Using the ratings when every show is down for the most part and also ratings these days are unreliable because it doesn’t account for all of the data.
One of those people that has probably been watching Who since before you were alive, and sees where this is headed?
Yeah, I’m one of those.
Who is not fine. It’s going to die a slow death now. I had no problem with either a woman or a POC being Doctor Who, but the writing then and now are actually terrible. Matt Smith’s era was the last wholly “good” writing block, and sadly Peter Capaldi got a lot of clunkers, especially after Clara was finally written out of the show. Jodi Whitiker’s era was a hot mess, and Ncuti Gatwa is getting a Chris Eccleston rehash rather than his own truly unique stories.
This is Bad Wolf all over again. You should stop eating the member berries and demand better from the writers.

I don’t have a horse in the Dr Who race as the show never really resonated with me, but that’s a lot of copium right there.
Just read about the final main Episode of the Season and all the Hype went nowhere.
Ruby was just an ordinary Human(despite Sutekh being deceived into thinking she was important and also despite everyone’s Memories being constantly altered) and the “73 Yards” Episode is indeed just Ruby warning everyone away from her past self to set up the eraser of that Timeline.
Mrs. Flood is now the only anomaly along with the location of Susan Foreman.
The thing with Ruby’s mother was cute, the Great Mystery over who she was that confounded even a God of Death, turned out to be no great mystery at all, she was just a 15 year old girl who couldn’t handle being a new mother, she was a Great Mystery because Ruby and the Doctor made her a Great Mystery.
As for Mrs. Flood, my guess is she’s either one of the Toymakers other children or she’s The Master. We shall see.
I do hope though that the question of What happened to Susan Foreman hasn’t been put aside, that we will see her brought back. And whatever they do, do not bring back Captain Jack Harkness during this Doctor’s run, that would just be awkward.
