It wasnât Sylvanas or the Twilight Hammer who are âThe torch that lights the way for the Old Godsâ, itâs the player. Apparently we automatically complete any quest we are given even if itâs ârelease Nâzothâ. But at least you get a cool headsquid toy out of it!
Interesting that the faction leaders have no reaction to the fact that YOU released Nâzoth. I guess they realize you are a brainless automaton with no agencyâŠ
I just consider most questing to be non-canonical to my own charactersâ stories. Also, this was related to my favorite artifact (aside from Tâuure), so I really wanted to do this quest chain regardless of the consequences.
Yup, same boat here. There is the RP side of my WoW experience (in a sort of âwhat would me character doâ sort of way) and then there is the experience/completion side of things where I just do the content to do it.
NâZoth really is the cleverest, most devious Old God. He realized that if you want anything done, all you have to do is put a yellow exclamation point above your head and offer a nice pair of pants.
Sure, protest not-questing is exactly what Iâve been doing ever since the pre-patch. But you have to accept that you probably wonât be able to fly if you donât do it.
I just pretended that as soon as the dagger started speaking, I was already under Old God influence and wasnât thinking straight. Also, how likely is it that this quest will be related to the Tentacle lady leading the sheep off a cliff. We were technically led by a voided lady off a metaphorical cliff here.
