The moment when 10+ years as a mage and I still panic each time I jump off a cliff with the wrong mount and start going: “Wait…where’s my slow fall… where’s my iceblock???”
Only to try to blink and then be reminded I play with high ms by the time I go splat.

I walked myself off the cliff in Kun-Lai Summit when I was killing a Warbringer during MoP. Not one of my proud moments, but I can laugh about it now.

I don’t know how many people have done this but I catch myself doing it every now and then.
I hit 1 to auto fly and then dismount because I hit my hotkey instead of the number pad 1.
And yet another death by falling.

I remember inching toward a steep slope to rez a friend down below while I was on a pally, only to go just a bit too far, fall, and then beat myself in my big dumb cow head about the fact that I didn’t bubble quick enough. Also, the friend’s fall to death was about as stupid as mine.
We laughed about that for weeks. Good times.

One time in Dragon Soul, I hearthed to Orgrimmar to pick up a gem for an item that I’d just gotten off Ultraxion, and when the raid summoned me back on the airship docked at Wyrmrest Temple, my friend told the captain to chase after Deathwing after the raid had summoned me.
I zoned in on top of a missing airship and plummeted to my death at the base of Wyrmrest Temple.
Ag, you bastard.

My brother just brought up the time we were dueling on the zep tower in vanilla and he won right as I was next to a brazier which hit me for a lethal 1 point of damage… He still laughs about that.

Worst for me was playing my paladin in wrath soaring near the box limit over dragonblight. It could get dull so I’d be moving the camera around and inevitably click a button which of course auto dismounts. The problem is doing it twice before forbearance has worn off.

I’m just waiting for the day I mistakenly shift out of flight form mid air and fall to my death. It’s inevitable knowing me.

I have done this as well. One time I was flying to the Island Expedition Table and I pushed the wrong button and killed myself on a tree branch and Bwonsamdi had to make his opinion known when I died.

Pre-flying I abused goblin rocket jump so many times to get down hills faster. Like in the big crater in the center of Nazmir. Just jump and right before landing…rocket jump.
So many deaths to realizing at the last moment it was still on CD.

Thanks to this stupid cloak being non modifiable via engineering I KNOW my hunter is going to mess up and go splat sooner or later. I do have some glider kits on her but kits are one use and engy cloak is eternal (or until you upgrade and forget).
