You’ve finally gained enough titan residium from doing mid range keys to buy the 415 azerite item to help push yourself into higher keys…and you get a questing piece. My DK has really needed an upgraded chest and I get Ashvane Warden Cuirass…all that dungeon work to end up with a higher ilvl questing item. Feels so wrong, so unrewarding. Questing items should not be rewarded for dungeon content, regardless of item level bump.

I did not even bother with titan residium, the rng is so bad this expac, i know i will get junk so why even try. And as fast as they are raising the ilvl of world quest rewards I’ll just get it from there.

Wouldn’t it make more sense to save up and get the actual piece instead of the RNG piece?

Also: this version of a Relinquished vendor does suck.

No. It doesn’t at all.

Scenario: I’m stuck in 5s getting pathetic residuum, I can get twice as much if I can get through 10s every week. Let me save my 180 residuum up to 6k.

Makes 0 sense.

I like that feeling when… I spend a month grinding crap out to become a god only to find out that the game just changed again and now everyone is getting god drops.

It would if I could consistently do 10s every week from the first week, but as 9 seems to be my limit on my 400ish ilvl toons, to save for a specific item would take till 9.3.5 :frowning:

Residuum only drops azerite pieces from dungeons. Not to say there aren’t garbage dungeon pieces, but it definitely doesn’t give you quest gear.

i’m not brave enough to attempt to even get a single M+ chest so far this expansion. I’ve done like 2 or 3 mythic+s, like +2 or something.

The piece is from the Tiragarde Sound armor set(does not drop in dungeons), and you get residium from scrapping/DEing both azerite armor AND from your weekly M+ chest

Is the gear piece in question have weak azerite powers? just because it is a questing item doesn’t mean that it won’t be decent when scaled up to 415.

Well, thanks for the correction. I’ve only ever received it from the azerite cache from WQ emissaries so was unaware, guess I just got a less than desirable item for my efforts.
