I was trying to do “That Darn Fox!” and got all the way to the part where Renny teleports you to Maldraxxus. I killed the little guys outside the room and the big guy inside, and Renny was just standing there on the floor.
I could select him, but I could not interact with him.
When the “Catch Renny!” buff wore off, Renny disappeared and I was left stranded in Maldraxxus.
Edit: This was today, 11/30. After the quest was supposed to have been fixed.
I can confirm that this is still happening on december 3rd. Still can’t interact with the darn fox.
December 4th - Just found this thread because I ran into this problem.
December 10th, and I’ve run into the same challenge.
There’s a work around, try to pick up the fox a buff comes up in the top right that says you have X time to pick him up. Dismiss it immediately and then repick him up. This worked for me in bastion and maldraxuss.
Dec 18th dealing with this now
I’m also dealing with it on Dec 18. I had to log out in the pasture because I couldn’t interact with the fox. After I logged back in I was able to catch the fox and returned to kill the guys outside the cave and the big dude in the middle. Didn’t see Renny. Got ported back to the Inn and it let me turn the quest in and get credited but I didn’t receive the pet. How can I go back and get/find the pet?
I’m having the same issue. I have submitted several tickets and no one can help. It let me turn the quest in but didn’t give me the fox.
28 Jan 2021, same issue. Tried with different settings, capping and uncapping fps, reloading ui. Did the Maldraxxus part 10 times with no successful outcome.
Try to go up to him in spirit animal form from your covenant specific spells.
