"That Darn Fox!" Bugged

The quest “That Darn Fox” in Ardenweald is bugged.

When the animation is given for having caught the fox, no quest credit is given and the fox remains stationary on the ground, unclickable, until despawning.

lol just made a post about this too. Same problem, either can’t click on the fox anymore or I get stuck in Bastion

Surprised I got through this than. I had trouble once I got teleport-ed to Maldraxxus. I was only able to pick up the fox after I logged out and than logged back in again.

they probably mean in game reporting, lol

I was able to get to maldraxxus the fox is unable to be click, he makes a sound but that it.

For all those having a problem, the solution that worked for me was to remove the speed buff you’re given after clicking Rennie the first time. Once I did that, I was able to catch him just fine.

Also, at the end where Rennie is dancing, remove the speed buff and he’ll be clickable.

I disconnected at the end when I was teleported back to Ardenweald, but Rennie was waiting for me at the Heart.

Seemed to work just fine for me so maybe they fixed it, or ya’ll just don’t know how it works. If you did that pirate’s dungeon in BFA a million times you’d be really good at catching pigs (and foxes) by now!

I dont know why when you submit a ticket for this they cant just say it is glitched and doesnt work atm. Instead it says we cant tell you how to do the quest or that you havent resorted to doing everything on this site and wowhead possible to complete this dumb quest. I have played for 12 years I know how to do quests and usually how to trouble shoot them IT DOESNT WORK!

As of Jan 11, this is still bugged. Got ported to Bastion, caught him again, and he’s just sitting there not moving but no credit given.

Still bugged on 03/23
