I’ve always found that fixed dates makes more sense than something like “the fourth Thursday” or “the first Monday.”
hugs you and please be safe that day!!
Not everyone celebrates Thanksgiving, also the US is not the center of the universe, there are a lot of people worldwide that play WOW, to finalize the game is not releasing on Thanksgiving so you literally have days to play…people should be following COVID guidelines and choosing to stay home anyways…
Could even get the whole family to log in to Warcraft and have dinner at one of the many fine establishments in Stormwind.
Luckily for you, it’s not being released on Thanksgiving, but nearly a week before that.

Littering aaaannnnndddddd?
My calendar is broke. for some reason its saying thanksgiving is on the 26th.
Its shame blizzard hasn’t done a November release 3 other times before, you know, to help with the shock.
I hope the same can be said of the people outside of your family that you are likely to spread it to.
Damn man that’s a lot of assuming going on in this reply. Again thanks for your concerns, nothing is being spread to others.
No need to assume, given the facts.
Since asymptomatic spread is a thing, and the most reliable tests still give up to 20% false negatives, any time you come into contact with another person you risk contracting the disease. Coming into contact with several people increases that chance exponentially.
I’m spending Thanksgiving with the same 3 people I’ve been in Covid lockdown with all year, so… yeah. (And one of them will be WOWing with me anyway)
Thanks for your concerns, Jostlen I appreciate it a lot. I plan to go a head and celebrate as I always have.
As you are free to do. We have the right to be selfish and irresponsible in this country. Enjoy!
You as well, I also appreciate the “selfish” jab in the middle. Nice touch, have a wonderful Holiday and stay safe.
The game will still be there after Thanksgiving

Don’t forget the “irresponsible” part!
Nothing “Irresponsible” about spending time with my family on a Holiday. Personally I never put stock in taking behind the monitor Video game players advice.
Meh, it’s great for my family. We all play wow. Just got my kids in for the prepatch. My sister, neices, nephews, all coming to visit play as well. This is good for us. But probably not good for more traditional “watch the parade” types of families.

There’s a lot that’s irresponsible about being around other people during a pandemic.
By all means, ignore me completely! I would advise listening to people who are much smarter than you or me and have been studying this stuff all their lives, though.
I have ignored you, I’ve laughed at your attempts at your back and forth jabs at what I posted a while back about spending time with my family. I find it funny, I don’t take what you wrote seriously.
To be honest man I’m not sure why you latched on to what I wrote a while back in the first place. I guess maybe out of boredom or you know someone sitting behind their monitor just looking to fling around at some other poster. Your right I did say “friends and family” which is the case. Friends and Family. You can throw around whatever views you have at the idea of me having my Family and Friends over to my house to celebrate Thanksgiving all you want, again I find it funny.
