..........Thanksgiving?

You can play the game at any time. Family is fleeting

(Eats the bait)

DAMN YOU, TRYPTOPHAN! :rofl::rofl:

True fact: the reason people get sleepy after Thanksgiving dinner is not tryptophan. It’s our tendency to overeat and then do nothing. Our bodies literally expend too much energy to process all those excess calories which, in turn, makes us sleepy.

This and xmas meal are the 2 days I get mashed potatoes from actual potatoes. I am not sure how much is real potato in the instant boxed stuff lol…Its in a box, not refrigerated so not 100% for sure lol.

So yeah…I carb out these 2 meals on the real mashed potatoes.

Protip: after cooking the mashed potatoes, use sour cream to thicken them. Mix in shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese and real chopped bacon.

You can thank me after dinner, after the nap, and after the hardened arteries :rofl:

I agree. Not a good choice.

Easy choice. Gaming keeps me 6 feet from those judgmental freaks and keeps me away from their substandard “cooking”.

An alternative to the bacon is truffle oil. OMG so good…

I mean you could always play after you get done with dinner… or i don’t know, skip one day. I’ve got kids and this isn’t even close to bothering me.

oh boohoo. eat your food. play the game after. stop bein a drip

I wish good luck to the people going for famed slayer, but I’m not sure why anyone else feels the need to be on every hour of week one.

I’ll be doing what I do every year anyway, sitting at work during release occasionally reading forums to see people crying that the servers are crashing all day. I may be a little behind by the time mythic releases, but I’m no longer a CE player so whatever.

Is it bad that my first thought was, "what’s a “collector’s edition player’?”

Id rather spend any other normal day with them  The moment someone close in my family didn’t live to the next holyday…shouldve spent any other normal day and went to see them , i wont ever do that mistake by making holyday anymore special than any other day .

That said ima play and enjoy the release dates , go see my family on the thursday of that week , maybe on the next saturday instead , don’t really need a holyday to go celebrate how nice it is to be with your family !

Oh, I know. I was just adding to it. lol

First, every area of the US differs regarding the level of cases of this 98% (at minimum) survivable illness. Second, if people could go out and riot for the last 5 months while this was going on, I am pretty sure that the average family Thanksgiving will be ok.

Yeah you might catch a virus that has a 99.7% survival rate!!!

“Survival” doesn’t mean “intact.”

It’s like a raid mechanic that only hits you for 20% of your life, but proceeds to permanently chip away 5% of your max health: sure, you might walk away from it, but the long term effects are bad for your personal meta.
