I would ask if you’re new to the game but seeing as you have almost 20k achievement points it’s safe to say you aren’t.
Yet you expect perfect stability on patch day?

Ffxiv has no ptr. They quality test their whole game. Very rare to see issues like this in ffxiv and they are a small budget indie company compared to the behemoth that is activision blizzard. When are white knights going to admit that blizzard has dropped the ball ever? Idk man but I hope you learned that Blizzard Polish is dead. This is why i wrote many months ago to give 9.1 three months before jumping in.

I logged on right when they came up, got past the intro stuff before the zerg swarm hit, and have coasted thru all the intro quests easily.

Becoz FF14 is not dealing with MILLIONS and MILLIONS of players. Their servers are not that filled that much. Unlike WoW, their bigger servers are being overpopulated again with this 9.1 patch.
Idk is that the reason the great vault is invisible for so many players? Its the players fault for the bugs. Got it

Lol. The idea that comparing two mmo developers is unacceptable.
That’s an issue that wouldn’t appear on ptr because of how it works. They’d have to clone servers and test the vault having loot and even then not everyone would be affected the same.
When you look at MMO-population that says FF14 has the most active players, you would see FF14 has 26M players (and 2.5M is active). When you look WoW’s players, it has 115M players. Imagine those players waking up becoz of 9.1 patch. Even if it’s just 50M, WoW servers would be jammed.
