I hear you OP. I was one of the ones who quit wow during the mass exodus of SLs for… ahem… another mmo we shall leave nameless xD
Anyway I got suckered back in a few months ago and actually enjoyed (most) of ZM as there was no gating by this time and I could breeze through it and focus on collecting the pets (i’m a pet collector).
Anyway I got hooked and really enjoyed DF- I could fly right away, pets werent lazily whacked onto impossible RNG, no gating for me (as I was late to the party.). I was cautiously optimistic…
And then this garbage of a patch was released. Same old gated crap, layered RNG, stupidly low unfun droprates on equally unfun rares. Literally just the same as every other ‘island patch’ since legion, or mists or whenever it was. Getting close to quitting again ngl.
