The quest objective is missing the details but this can be properly completed by bringing the Odd Globs of Wax to Middles (The Wax Collector) in Gundargaz and contributing it to him. It seems like once you contribute a few globs, the quest will clear.

I have this issue across multiple alts.
Returning to say that even after deleting the quest item (did not auto-delete) and thinking all was done, I just returned to Ringing Deeps and was immediately greeted with this quest popping back up. My best guess is that simply having 5 or more wax in your inventory is enough to trigger this quest again.

It’s probably this! I need to check, I ended up turning mine all in once I found out that I had to RECOLLECT for the 10 for this week, the ones I was holding onto were not counting. So I dumped them into the other option there yesterday.
EDIT: Nope, that objective is still there and I have ZERO wax related items in my bags OR my banks. I have no idea what is going on but it needs to stop.

this is it! filled his donation bar to 100% and the “bonus objective” cleared. 
Ok if THIS is it, I’m going to get the rest of the wax, turn it in, and never talk to that NPC again. I’m sorry I ever talked to him.
