I’m not being sarcastic or ironic, it’s actually a brilliant idea from Blizzard making people pay more money to test the launch of a new xpac 4 days before the official launch, because that way they can:
Fix the major (and minor) bugs and problems before the xpac launches for real
Minimize the server load and queue from too many people trying to log in at once
Make extra money with zero effort, just gotta unlock the new content for EA buyers, zero resources wasted on this one
Trick some players with fake FOMO to buy the Epic Edition
Free marketing because everyone is talking about the early access, either negatively or positively
Did i miss something? This is genius! Perhaps this will go down as the most smooth xpac launch ever! Well i mean of course there’s some bugs in the normal game like the pre patch event not giving XP anymore (prolly already fixed by now) and DF LFR is disabled for some reason but hey, it can always be worse, right?
There are worse things in the world than being poor.
I remember me and a lot of guildies having major problems during Shadowlands launch, of couse the same applies to other xpacs after WoD, there’s always problems at a xpac launch, some people are just blessed by the RNG or they just play on empty realms
