Can’t roll BM yet due to no Bow, and MM in PVE is now absolutely crap.
How the hell do these Devs have a job!

They also ruined outlaw.
We can’t have nice things, can’t have fun.
They will never allow us to.
Pathetic.
It’s always this, the bias towards pvp is incredible. Pvp balancing always ruins the fun for PVE
You dont know if this change was because of pvp.
Speaking from a PvP perspective, Double Tap was a non-issue for anyone that played seriously. In every RSS I’ve played above 1800 MMR people know how to play around the extra GCDs it took to get off a DT Rapid Fire. There’s other classes like Ret, Ele, Arcane that are bursting harder with less setup that aren’t losing key abilities. MM has floated around upper B tier in PvP. PvP didn’t ruin Double Tap no matter what rumors you’ve heard from 1200 plebs, AWC representation proves that.
ummm, are you dense? thats exactly why it was changed and it was documented. PVP ruins PVE.
Buff to CDR on 2 major spells and lowering cooldown on Trueshot is good for more consistent damage. DT was more of a pvp spell for oneshots. I think the changes are not too bad. we’ll see when the data rolls in.
Where was this documented because we’ve yet to get any explanation on why DT was removed from the devs. Please provide sources.
Yea, problem is, we can’t get to Salvo and the CDR on Trueshot in an AoE build. This was effectively a @10% nerf to MM in content that involves more than one PVE target.
PVP should be on PVP servers and leave PVE alone on PVE servers. if you so good and godlike at PVP go play on PVP server.
O really? Id like to see a link of that documentation.
Yeah, you do realize we lost half of our aoe burst with DT being removed, don’t you?
And burst aoe was MM’s second name.
Just because your damage didn’t tank while hitting a training dummy that doesn’t apply to real scenarios.
Therein lies the issue. They’ve balanced a LOT of abilities for PvP only. Balance changes don’t have to effect one another. Hell, the spriest buffs a few weeks ago when spriest was S+ tier in pvp came with PvP exclusive nerfs to keep them in line.
Double Tap wasn’t removed because of PvP, it was removed because nobody at Blizzard plays the light green class.
came here literally to say the same thing, MM is gutless now. the potential for any burst damage has been cut in half and can no longer keep up with some specs in keys… there were a handful of class specs that were outperforming us (MM) in the same content already yet we’re the ones to get gutted as they continue to shine. over people crying about pvp. (which isnt pve). why wasn’t nerfing double tap in pvp addressed until you found a solution? how much time/testing was put into just nerfing double tap? hell just nerfing it in pvp?? no?? guess thats asking too much. im trying to see how this is all justified but gutting the spec was the result, under a terribly justified and irrelevant reason for PvE. quit dropping the ball with us ffs…
Uh…maybe you’ve missed something but there are no more PVE and PVP servers in Retail
Not only all of this, but the removal of DT completely screwed up the talent tree for AoE. There’s no flow with SF being included and also limits us to only one end of tree talent, which is Salvo. The removal of DT did more than just remove an ability, it removed Unerring Vision as well.
Your “documentation” is some idiot troll who went “Oh it’s due to Battlegrounds” or some sh!t. Go buy a clue.
You don’t need to look for multiple sources to see why it was removed all you need to to read are all the complaints from players on forums to understand why it was removed.
It had high burst and players on the PvP side were continuously having issues with MM being able to oneshot them before they could react. Other specs claimed it was over powered and broken as it didn’t give them the time to close in on the MM. However, Hunters have poor defensive abilities and TP gave MM the chance to burst other class before they could reach them.
So, instead of finding a good balance for TP Blizzard decided to remove it. This way MM was no longer able to oneshot someone and has been pushed towards more higher average damage as that seems to be the trend with changes across many classes.
You do not always need a source to work out why Blizzard makes these decisions. You spend enough time reading other players comments and complaints you can see a pattern being formed.
I kinda wish I was as stupid as you and some other people , you must have alot of fun in that peanut brain
That’s hilarious. Because this literally never happens. They just tune numbers for pvp only
