IMO it shows us that Blizz means it when they say Classic is its own game and has nothing to do with retail.

You can step into hellfire right now in retail and get the “experience” via leveling.

I’ll be stepping into hellfire in CLASSIC TBC in a matter of months. I can wait.
Think about how much they layered Classic’s launch…and that was with races being spread out in 6 starting zones. In Outland everyone starts at Hellfire. There’s going to be dozens and dozens of layers every server. Even waiting at the Dark Portal in Blasted Lands is going to be layered like crazy.
Yeah TBC isn’t going to be until August at least. Tehe

However, I think more people than ever are going to be leveling in dungeons to avoid the mob and to get some rep along the way. Naxx geared groups are going to be crushing Hellfire and Coilfang regular 5 mans.

You could do the quests, sure, but I’m positive it wouldn’t feel like TBC. It would feel like Bfa with a coat of TBC paint.
