Thanks For Killing Incentive to do Hard Modes

My group has defaulted to normal AQ this week because each chest gave out at most 1 piece of loot with recipes.
These HMs aren’t worth doing for a lot of groups when they see each chest dropping almost nothing.

On the flip side, you could think of it as HM being the optional challenge it should have been for guilds who want to flex the cosmetics and get very expensive recipes while also not making it feel bad to do normal mode for those who don’t sweat as hard.

There are three several benefits from doing hardmode:

  1. Timeworn tagged loot. These increase the value of your rep ring. Very good.
  2. Bonus loot and recipes in the chests leading up to the final boss.
  3. Final chest rewards multiple pieces and a MOUNT.

If you think there’s no incentive you’re delusional.

Ok but the hard modes are easy and all the actual difficulty comes from the base raid on normal this time around which is problematic

The hard modes change nothing about the encounters. Same boss hp, same boss damage, same boss mechanics.

This isn’t like normal vs heroic wotlk or cata raids, where normal is significantly easier.

They should actually make the bosses have less hp on normal vs hardmode.
