Now I have a question about this after I took a peak at the dungeon side. Some say “wts”, others don’t. I just want some clarity on what all of it actually means. I mean, being carried sounds great, obviously, but I also want to make sure I’m understanding all of this properly. Don’t get me wrong, as long as there remains no toxicity, as I have been assured and witnessed myself (so far) that it isn’t all that present in remix, I don’t mind fighting my way up to that point. I just saw all of the “30 - 40 carry” in there and got curious about it.

You can whisper them and ask for info, but usually there’s either a link to web store or they want gold on Retail version - I’m not sure if its against TOS or not, probably not?
It is, you can’t advertise from the dungeon finder. You can only do that from the trade (services) channel.

Make sense. What about buying from those advertisers? Probably against tos since it wasnt written in /2?
It’s not /2, that’s the normal trade channel. I think it’s /4. Trading for ingame currency is ok, regardless of the source of the advertisement.
You shouldn’t reward the behavior though.

Ah well a /something. I think I read on forums that buying carry on Remix and paying on Retail is against the rules. But idk. As long as its currency in game it should be fine.
I don’t believe that it is against the TOS, it’s just not encouraged because in the event you get scammed, Blizzard is not going to reimburse the gold you were scammed out of. You are entirely on your own.

Kust grab a Key from the Bazaar and start pushing it up. Grab anyone who applies who’s at or above your iLevel.
It will go fast.
Those adverts are scams. Usually will give you a link to a 3rd party site that will steal your account.
Also, there is no need for a carry. You will have far more power to clear +40 even if you go slow. There is still 3 months left to the event. By that time everyone will be solo’ing them.
What this guy says. It’s two weeks in and there are more and more carry groups showing up for M+ and mythic raids each day. I don’t think ilvl cap is going above 740 so I imagine another month from now things are just going to be complete bonkers.
Man, so true. I was looking at keys in the 20-30 range yesterday early afternoon and there were 5 booster ads for every 1 legit key. Doesn’t help that reporting does seemingly nothing to remedy the problem long-term.

I have heard that charging gold for content outside of what you are playing is against the rules.
If they want gold from your remix character, it would be allowed, but asking for gold from retail to pay for a remix carry is actionable.

i would work for free banning all these accounts that advertise this. It is a little bit of Schadenfreude

I heard the same not long ago. Well I’m not ordering anything from them, just ignore and queue.
Oh wow, you’re right. After 20 years of boosting, we just needed some forum rando to come out and say it. Can’t wait to check lfg and see no more WTS spam.
I am right thank you. If nobody buys boosts, nobody is selling them and it eventually stops, without any Blizzard intervention.
