This is actually hilarious. I find all you players complaining about the length of this phase is hilarious.
This isnt the first classic phase that lasted over 20 weeks.
Whatâs your point? Those sucked too.

Just because it isnât the first one doesnât make it GOOD⌠EVER. 6 months to get out of a âclassicâ phase is r-word. On top of that, it consequentially makes Firelands a shorter tier, and getting a legendary thatâs gated by RNG is part of it. Straight r-word.

I think you missed the point there.
Most of the Blizzard staff were laid off or asked to leave. This is all Microsoftâs game now. Blizzard has nothing to do with this, such as making it to where anyone can now transmog to the level 60 Classic PvP gear even if you did not get the rank for it and even if you have zero PvP done in Classic. You can legit boost a toon to max level in Cata that was made seconds ago and then buy the entire R14 transmog set for it even with zero PvP done in original Classic. In Cata you can do that. In retail you probably will be able to too son. Lame game now for sure. I legit wasted months of my time grinding that gear out in Classic on multiple toons thinking I was going to unlock cool titles and gear then TBC came around, then WrathâŚnow Cata.
Cata was the beginning of the end for WoW last time aroundâŚhistory is once again repeating itselfâŚseems like once again, Cata is going to kill of ClassicâŚ

If you DID complete the Rank 14 grind, you DID unlock cool titles, 14 of them, to be specific. Titles, Iâll add, that you can no longer obtain. Through TBC and Wrath Classic, you WERE able to obtain Level 60 PvP Gear, just like you could during the original expansions.
Sounds like youâre attributing the downfall of the original Cataclysm with the ability to transmog Level 60 PvP Gear in Cataclysm Classic. However, the ability to transmog this gear didnât come until MoP for players who didnât complete the Rank 14 grind.

Broken Halloween event quests says this was prudent.
It less potential rage. Iâve done the quests in retail with the now broken boat. Itâs not rage worthy if it takes a day or 2 to fix lol.

But ONLY after you got the titles could you mog to that gear. And it required you to be at least R8 or above to be able to mog to that stuff AND you could only mog on the class that got them and could only mog to the weps that the class that got them could equip.
But anyone could buy that level 60 gear but NO one could mog into it. You had to buy the replica set that is only unlocked at R8 and above. It is not the R14 grind. You never had to grind to R14 to unlock that gear, ever. All R14 unlocks is the titles. And in original Cata, R14 would unlock account bound wep mog for the R14 gear as the weps were originally R14. You had to be R8 or above to unlock the mogs.
No. It came in late Cata, final patch which was MoP prepatch. NO ONE who did not get the rank was able to transmog to that gear in the original version.
And we got WoW tokens, level boosts, no arena teams, a changed MMR system this is not exactly like how it used to be. I have seen some changes in all of this. And why no WoW Classic anniversary event? That should have been in August.
And MoP Remix was so fun that I donât see how people are going to want to go back to MoP to play it again when it is not the Remix version. And not to mention it is going to be âClassicâ MoP which will mean that it is going to be even worse than the original and the original version dropped subs the entire way through and Blizzard had to hide their rapidly declining sub numbers out of embarrassment because it was scaring away all the private investors.
