Thankfully, resto druids tranq cant be stopped with knockbacks now

  • Inner Peace (Talent) now has an additional effect – While channeling Tranquility, you take 20% reduced damage and are immune to knockbacks.

I was really worried they were going to be bottom tier.

And then we have for priests…

  • Guardian Angel (Talent) now has an additional effect – When Guardian Spirit saves the target from death, it does not expire.
  • Afterlife (Talent) now has an additional effect – As a Spirit of Redemption, you may cast Resurrection, which ends the Spirit of Redemption.

Confirmed Dev plays druid, only explanation for this change as you can RoP Tranq even through the immune talent. Must’ve made the dev mald.

Apparently holy priests too. It kind of looking like they’ll be able to Resurrect during Spirit now

I agree that this buff is totally unnecessary, but the silver lining is that Inner Peace shares a row with Overgrowth

I doubt people will play inner peace over overgrowth. This change shouldn’t affect pvp much

Why because they are fixing a clearly unintended interaction? It was meant to be a full immunity roping it was bug abuse

They could play it if they face someone with a knockback. I see it as being really situational. Maybe only get played when facing a monk?

If that were the case, they would just fix the Immunity tranquility talent lol. Not bug abuse in any way.

They should’ve ye

Holy priests kind of garbage in PvE. Resto druids also kind of bottom of the totem pole when it comes to raiding.

Surprised there aren’t a lot of mistweaver buffs since they’re not great in PvE. And I don’t think disc will ever get buffed, more nerfs if anything

RoP on hunter turtle works too. Don’t think it’s abuse. I assume CC and knockbacks are just counted differently, so blizz decided to include both for tranq.

i mean sweeping strikes and bladeflurry goes thru detterence and its not intended.

Some sphagetti code is easier to untangle than others. Something about reticle knockbacks functions differently than say shining force or typhoon

Overgrowth got a huge mana efficiency buff. Don’t think rdruids will play Inner Peace.

As a warrior it makes me very upset to see rdruid buffs :frowning:

maybe one of you gladiators should just offer the rdruid playing dev a pro-bono rival boost in exchange for this change not going live

Just curious but has anyone tried to cast Tranq while holding the flag in a BG/RBG?

I believe you’re able to do that just like you can greater fade with it

If this is true and you can tranq bubble on the flag point when it is a race to kill each FC then I think the meta is about to change back to 4 healers with a boomy off spec.

Yeah I don’t really see the purpose of this change in a core talent slot. Are there some knockback mechanics in PvE I don’t know about that make this an actual viable pick?

Obviously you can’t use the PvP talent in PvE situations so I don’t really see how they would benefit each other outside of PvP. This change seems out of character for blizzard’s current design philosophy.

There is quite a few times where tranq legitimately cant be used in pve encounters due to this especially when its reduced using the tranq talent. This is just allowing more fluid use of it.

Until you play with a resto druid lol
