Thank you, warlock OR how to farm Cobalt Assembly Rep - the fun way

Like many, I am working hard to complete A World Awoken right now. The Cobalt Assembly Rep seemed so very tedious to me so I left it towards the end of the completion, but I finally had to bite the bullet.

So I went and I began gathering the boosts that at least made it easier to farm - but it was still slow.

And then, I saw him. It was beautiful. A warlock was running (and he was MOVING) leaving a trail of fire blazing out behind him and he had a slew of mobs forming behind him, rapidly dying. He was killing more mobs faster than I had seen anyone do it. Very curious, I took a look at his boosts. (I apologize that I don’t have the names.)

  • Trail Blazer - Leaves the fire behind/around him. I had never taken this before because it burned me as well.
  • 100% Healing of Damage Done
  • Stacked Speed Increase + Damage Increase (Makes You Smaller)
  • 50% Speed Increase (with Blink Rewind) - This one is a little annoying, so I eventually removed this to run slower.
  • Mix of a ton of different boosts.
  • Wild Anima Drop Increase

This setup let the warlock come tear in at super speed, create a trail of fire, aggro everything and pull it into the fire, and watch it burn while healing himself for the amount burning. After trying it myself, it also appears that the burn pools stack so if the enemies close in on you, it stacks up and they burn that much faster. You can even stay mounted to move around more quickly until you need to loot.

This was a huge game changer. I did the same thing and it took me only 3 hours to farm from Level 4 to max level.

I wanted to share for anyone struggling with this one. It’s a lot more fun! Thank you Mr. Warlock for showing me a better way.

I did it it way back, and I stayed away from the fire also! I may just try and use this method when levelling up alts when I get to that area, especially if there is a storm in progress also!

One thing I forgot to mention that I saw in another post is to loot quickly as mobs drop. It seems like the Cobolt rep only drops once per a “group” of looting. So if you loot sooner, you seem to get more. This was something else I changed, but I don’t know 100% if this is true. But…it seemed that way.

The only thing bad about the place is fighting for mobs, the buffs make you a mini god.

I did the whole thing in one night due to less people being on at that time.

The fire buff can be nice, but honestly its the stacking stat and damage buffs that make the biggest difference. Focus on those and you’ll nuke everything. And frequent looting is probably the best suggestion on this thread. I found that the pace was highest when i went to the far end of the assembly down the stairs to the open area with the gazebo thing (this location only because you’re more frequently on your own out there) and just went in circles pulling and nuking 1 group at a time.
