I just wanted to thank the “kind” undead mage who decided to attack my hunter after I waited hours for the Gon item to spawn =(.

I was so happy when I saw it up, because I had been trying for weeks to get this pet and now there’s no telling how long I’ll be waiting now…if I even try again =/

While I know / understand the whole red is dead thing…sometimes just having a little human decency goes a long way =(

I mean, you’re an alliance hunter in the horde’s main city stealing something that other horde players might really want, on a server that has a very large horde population. What did you expect?

If you want to get it easier, get invited to MG’s version of Orgrimmar.

Killing a pet a hunter is trying to tame is a crappy thing to do.

Killing a hunter of the opposite faction that is trying to tame a pet is PvP.

Don’t want to be killed, don’t flag up, don’t go into enemy cities. PvP happened.

Rare hunter tames can be a tough racket. Better luck next time- if you do manage to get that pet on an Alliance character, that makes it all the more special

Dunno if this’ll be useful but my strategy for rare hunter tames has always been to get a friend to roll an alt on whatever’s the least populated server, get them to invite and CRZ my hunter there, and then do my camping. That’s how a got Loque’nahak.

So, that worked once. That’s actually the only rare pet I’ve ever cared enough about to bother with. But it’s a solid strategy! Might be your best bet if you’re gonna be camping in the enemy capital. Like, find one of those server pop breakdown sites and figure out which has got the least Horde players.
