in my world we dont thank people for taking away a perfect system for 4+ years and completely destroying the system i love only to pretend the wheel needed to be reinvented and then finally listening to the feedback that started in 2016… just my opinion much like all the people praising the delayed shadowlands release as if they didnt drop the ball. Get real.
That said, looks great finally looking forward to this.

don’t be too happy too early.
Conduits are also mostly pve locked.

I understand the underlying philosophies that began the change in Pvp gearing post-WOD and I agree with them all. It took a long time for us to find our way back to something workable, but big projects always do.
Like I’ve outlined in previous threads I’ve made; Rated Pvp content is the best content this game has to offer if you are a part of a small group of friends, or solo player that needs time flexibility but still wants challenge and reward. The more investment here the better for everyone.

I think it will be fine for Mythic raid gear to have higher iLvl because mythic raiders won’t necessarily be stacking versatility like we will, so they can’t take advantage of the huge trinket set bonus. In which case they may have higher iLvl but we will be more powerful in a Pvp setting, just as it used to be pre legion.
The worst case scenario will be a mythic raid spec that has haste/verse as their stat priority for raids anyway. All that person will have to do is get the 2 trinkets and they will now also be BiS geared for Pvp.
That being said: as someone just getting into mythic raiding for the first time this expansion: 99% of these guys couldn’t give a toss about Pvp, the raid at mythic level is all-consuming for most. In the rare instances where I see one of these cave-dwellers that can mythic raid and farm a full versatility set for Pvp: I will happily be their punching bag in exchange for a life outside of the game.
