I want to say a huge “Thank You” to the WoW teams who put this 20th Anniversary event together, it was superbly done. I started way back in beta, before the very first release… and I’ve enjoyed every second, every art redesign and every expansion over the years. But, like many, I overlooked so much on my quest to conquer the content. This was a unique opportunity, not only for the novelty, XP, gear and just plain fun, but it took me back, literally (and geographically) forced me to revisit many places in the world I hadn’t experienced for years. It brought back great memories, all those dear (and not so dear) NPCs we’ve loved, and the music as always, sensational! I really didn’t want it to end.

I miss it already. For the first time in a long time, a hub actually felt social. People were loitering around the grounds outside of the COT today, mourning its loss. I haven’t seen that kind of reaction to content since pre-MOP stuff.

Well said, i agree. Thank you for all of the gaming fun i have had since the game went live and over the last 20 years with all of my alts. I hope i will still be here in another 20 and still enjoying the game as much.
