Then stop playing it. There’s addons and spam filters to help you find players and ignore the spam. Retail sucks for a reason, and the reason is because it’s queuecraft.
We watched wow die with dungeon finder. It was never the same. Group quests? Nah. Questing at all? Nope. Guilds? What’s the point when you just queue up. No need for a guild. Tuning your character to be the best you can be? Why bother when you just queue for a raid and see all the content without trying.
Talking to other players? Nope. Done. I just want to hit a button and queue up because I don’t like the mmorpg aspect so I want to ruin it for the actual veterans of the game.

No single player should NEED to use addons just to play the game. They’re meant to be an assistive tool, not a mandatory one.

They Should add cross server functionality to the LFG tool when sign ups are low or servers will suffer eventually.

WoW is already dead… and that was because of Raid Finder… RDF had nothing to do with it… and it doesn’t matter… no one is playing cata classic or mop classic… wraith is the end… why the hell do I want to spend the last time I am ever going to play WoW not being able to play as much as I want… even if its pointless dungeons that has no effect on end-game content.
You are lashing out because you think you can save WoW’s next expansion if you fight against RDF here? How daft are you.

And why is manually having to go through the same process better? You don’t talk pugs in your group more or less just because of how they got there. And why is spamming unreadable LFG channel better than being matched up with people that want to do the same thing as you?

LFD is bad for the same reason LFR is bad. The LFG tool we’re getting is actually really good. When I did pugs in Classic I actually did speak with people I thought were competent and I invited them for other dungeons days later if they were around my level

When I que LFD on retail I usually don’t talk because I don’t have a reason to talk to people from different realms I’ll never see. In Classic I talked because I wanted to be on good terms with competent players on my realm so I can do dungeons/raids with them later. Doesn’t seem like a difficult thing to understand
You can’t compare Retail or the original Lich King to Lich King “Classic” for this, though. The original Lich King had up to 12 MILLION players across all battlegroups, spanning 15-20 realms per, while Classic is currently struggling to maintain even 500,000 - a whopping 4% of the population we had back in 2009-2010.
How do you know they’re competent when you first enter a dungeon, though? You don’t, and you won’t know this until partway through the dungeon, if not at the end of the run. So, realistically, you’d have to talk to people throughout the run in order to successfully gauge their level of competence.
And this is why we can’t compare Retail to Lich King “Classic” - Retail provides you a way of remaining in contact with any and all players you meet in dungeons and allows you to group up with them again for dungeons or raids.
It’s difficult to understand when it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.
