The term “Classic” is coined as a term to refer to playing the game how it was back when the particular expansion or Vanilla was current. It has nothing to do with making these huge changes.
Which would include the Dungeon Finder in Lich King Classic, because that IS the old school way.
If playing the expansion how it was created initially doesn’t interest you, go to Classic Era servers.
LFD won’t solve the botting issue at all. Not one bit. It also won’t even solve the boosting problem. We have this massive group of people who think that RDF will mean no one will get boosted anymore because they can just do the dungeons now. You do realize that the people who are boosting do it because they hate levelling, and that AT MOST RDF will result in them levelling 1 alt honestly before they go back to boosting. Why? Because they can do other things while afk boosting that are more enjoyable. People boost because they don’t have to play the game to level. RDF doesn’t fix that.
The people who will actually use RDF as a main source for levelling alts are, by and large, going to be the people already levelling alts. Some who don’t level alts might do one through RDF, maybe two. But most won’t suddenly be levelling alts like crazy.
The only thing RDF does is make it so you don’t have to stare at a badly made addon that parses chat for you to see groups. But another fix to that is exactly what they so far said they will be doing: making an actual non-garbage LFD function similar to retail. After that, the only thing you are missing from RDF is teleporting to the dungeon.
So what’s it like to suffer from psychological delusions? You and everyone else who says RDF was bad for the community are objectively wrong.

good blizzard can LOSE tons of money form players not playing it because of no lfd i wont be playing or spend boost money and many others wont be either.
classic wrath will be a DEAD raid log mage by phase 2-3 just like classic wow and classic tbc…have fun in a dead raid log game.
Obviously a troll thread, but the true Classic community wanted an authentic recreation of the game. Removing a core feature that was in Wrath is not an authentic experience. And neither is the rampant dungeon selling and buying that the dungeon finder would have largely eliminated.
The people that removing dungeon finder benefits are elitist gatekeepers, bots and boosters. That’s it.

I’ll add to this by saying, since Blizzard is continuing to allow these boosters, bots, gold sellers (in and out of game), I suspect there are Blizzard developers who have some personal interest with the bots, gold selling, etc and this is one of several reasons they are not removing this infestation of garbage and keeping WoTLK as it was released.

The point is you will actually be able to find a group with LFD. Unlike the boosting situation where you spam for hours for sunken temple and just give up. It may not rid us completely of bots and boosts but if you think for a second it won’t give players a quality of life option and lessen the boosting you are wrong.
I believe “server community” and “random dungeon encounters” are two completely different things, besides the fact that there is little player-to-player interaction taking place even now when doing dungeons. Raids (not LFR), yes, dungeons, no.
Even back then, some realms had bad reputation developed through RDF. That actually brought our realm together to behave better.
We are all part of the community we have. Every realm has its own community. If the community was “destroyed” because of RDF, probably the community members are to be blamed, not RDF.
RDF may not be needed by some players, but greatly helps players who don’t have any other way of doing dungeons.
